  1. I agree with you Island Girl. I wish they would give their customers the heads up. That way people could atleast stock up on supplies. Then it would give them time to find a new supplier and do the testing that takes time to be done. They are not only hurting their own reputation but hurting the customers who have been loyal and spent their hard earned money.
  2. I just called the # I got off the internet (1(972) 686-2929). I got a message saying it had been changed to 1(903)567-5435. So I called that number and got a message saying that # has been disconnected
  3. I don't mind sharing at all. Here is a youtube video. This lady can explain it way better than I could, lol. Now the only thing I did different was I did not sand down the tiles. It was not the look I was going for with mine. They're super easy!!!
  4. I spray painted the milk jug "Oil Rubbed Bronzed" Krylon. I got it from our local Walmart. The white is acrylic paint sponged on. I don't have any more pics of the coasters. Sorry I gave them all away for gifts. I should makes some more soon. I'll try to post pics then.
  5. I agree Darbla. It doesn't smell the same to my nose.
  6. Those are adorable!!! You did a wonderful job. I've tried so many times to learn how to crochet and no luck. I'm all thumbs, lol.
  7. Lol, My hairdresser didn't bother carrying it. She loved the smell but their wholesale was even very high. She didn't want to have that much invested if it didn't sell. Can't blame her.
  8. That is sweet of you. Actually I wonder if a supplier would be willing to try to dupe it, if they don't carry something like it already.
  9. Wessex, I'm far from being artistic, lol. I had alot of help from stencils & stamps. :smiley2: Thank y'all for the compliments.
  10. Here is an old milk jug I repainted and stenciled. Here is a tumbled tile from Lowes I altered. I stamped them with stazon, baked and Gorilla glued cork on the backs. I made 8 sets of 4 coasters for Christmas gifts. They only cost about $2.50 a set. They were a big hit. Thanks for looking.
  11. I didn't get to smell it for very long. To me its warm, spicy, sexy with a hint smooth vanilla at the end. My nose wasn't familiar with the notes. :embarasse I didn't recognize any fruit, flowers or food. I really need to buy a bottle I guess. So I can sniff it some more. I just hate to buy a 3.4 oz bottle for $35. Darbla, I bought a small bottle of the one from Sally's too. But it doesn't have the same fragrance. It still smells nice though.
  12. Sorry, I didn't give a description. It's hard for me to describe it. I was hoping maybe someone has used it and knows a similar f/o. Here is the list of ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Butylphenyl Methyl Propional, Argania Spinoza Kernel Oil (Argan Oil), Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract, Fragrance Supplement, D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17, Coumarin, Benzyl Benzoate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone. There is no hint of what the fragrance is.
  13. Does anyone know if there is a f/o similar to this hair oil? Or even a fragrance description? http://www.moroccanoil.com/en/our-products.html My hair dresser had tried this product out in her salon. I fell in love with this fragrance. I think it would gorgeous in tarts or BB. I've searched the threads and internet but I haven't had any luck. Any suggestions are appreciated!!! TIA
  14. I have been searching for months buying samples from different suppliers and still have not found it. I know AH/RE and DS are not the same. I have even started ordering any f/o with bamboo in the name just to see if someone has done a name change. I will dig out my samples this afternoon and post all of the ones I have. That way you don't waste your money. Hth
  15. I just got this f/o last week from KY. I haven't been able to test in wax yet but it's really strong oob and smells so good. I buy from both CS and KY but imho the f/o's I have gotten from KY are stronger. Customers buy more of the candles made with her f/o's. Hth
  16. I believe cotton wicks burn hotter than zincs. This maybe why they are sooting. Please don't take this in a wrong way, but with a new baby, isn't burning 10 candles at once too much? If those candles are not wicked properly, have the potiental to soot and and you are have evidence of black soot inside your nose, this might not be healthy for your baby to breath.
  17. I sure hope they get Bamboo Sugar Cane. I've tried several from other companies and they are not the same. My "clean scent" customers (I label my customers, lol) love that f/o.
  18. When I talked to them, they also stated they didn't sell that many zincs and said it was alot of trouble to have to label them due to some new rule. At the time, I didn't know what rule or law they were talking about.
  19. This is the reason Candle Science said they decided not to carry them anymore. When I called to order from Peaks 2 weeks ago, I asked if they would still carry them. The lady on the phone said they had not heard they would not at that time.
  20. Thanks Sharon. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I was thinking of asking them the same thing (on who may carry them and samples). I just hate the thought of no supplier carry them and finding out that is the size I need. I cant afford ordering 10,000 from them, lol. Thanks again.
  21. Grrr! Don't you just hate when you are testing and figure out you need a wick size that you can't find? I've been testing WYW Vanilla Grapefruit (I really like it). I even used less f/o. Most of my f/o's use the 51-32z. This f/o's ht is terrific but the flame is really too small and the 60-44z are too big. I looked on Wick's Unlimited zinc size chart and they offer the 51-36-18 Z (which has a higher flame height) but I can't find a supplier that carries them. I use Peak's wicks and I really like theirs but they don't carry the 51-36z. I even goggled it and still no luck . Does anyone know of a supplier who carries these? Tia P.S. Sorry to vent but it's so frustrating at times.
  22. Someone sent me a sample of your "Viva La Juicey" type last week and I must tell you "I love it". I'm very bribable! If you include Viva la Juicey, I'll be nice to you, lol.
