  1. Pick up a pallet? Wow. Hope you have a big truck. A pallet is normally about 40 or so 50 lb cases (sometimes a few less). That would be tough to pick up but, it can be done.
  2. How long did you let it cure? How about moving it to the largest room in your house (maybe a living room or family room) and seeing how it throws in a larger, open area. I look forward to seeing what you have to say. Thanks for providing all of us with updates.
  3. I know that Golden Brands has a 5 pallet minimum, but, I'm not sure about IGI. I would guess it would be a similar minimum, as they don't want to compete directly with their distributors.
  4. Is it more difficult to obtain glass adhesion from frosted jars?
  5. For those of you who have poured already, how is the glass adhesion/wetspots, and, at what temperatures did you pour?
  6. Don't give into temptation to burn before it has had time to cure. Wait the full week to really get a good sense of how this wax will throw.
  7. This is just another example of another great scent from these folks. Their meticulous testing and retesting ensures that anything they put out throws well, and, is divine smelling (by a majority of their testers).
  8. Those are Anchor Hocking Jars. You can get them from them.
  9. Old thread, but, you might also check out Old Mill, Greenleaf (my personal favorite), and Rustic Escentuals, if you are looking for nice, complex, out of the ordinary type blends. Anyone else have any suggestions?
  10. This fragrance oil threw VERY well for me. In fact, much better than the Bamboo, which is odd, cause the Bamboo would SEEM like a stronger scent, however, this one easily filled my living room and kitchen.
  11. I was able to get them finally from Candlechem. He's very reasonable with his shipping and pricing. Good guy, too.
  12. If I were alone in my feelings that this guy is rude, condescending and elitst, I might tend to agree, however, I'm not, and, if you didn't think his initial response to me in this thread was rude, then I would encourage you to take off your blinders.
  13. Thank you, and, by the way, someone PM'd me yesterday with the exact same sentiment.
  14. Just checked out your Min Pin rescue site. Great job there. They are a wonderful breed...one of my favorite breeds in the world.
  15. Tootie, you are the second person to recommend that same thing. I am going to give that a shot. Thanks for the tip.
  16. By the way, Top, since your life is obviously so great that you seem very concerned about keeping tabs on me and my testing, I wanted to let you know that it's actually closer to 200 as far as oils that I have to test, as I just got in an order of about 50 oils from Scent-Works, and still have quite a few from Greenleaf and WYW, and Peaks and several others. Just thought you should know, since you seem genuinely concerned and don't have much else better to do.
  17. I would also ask a moderator to step in here and ask this guy not to post in this manner anymore, as it's kind of ridiculous at this point already.
  18. I live in Miami, FL and they are in Pennsylvania. And, the price that I quoted was for UPS Ground. So, thanks for the words of advice, however, I suppose I should have been clearer in my first post. Again, it's a pretty standard, east cost shipment, via UPS ground, and the shipping was absurd. I'm going to call on Monday to speak with them cause I'm guessing there may be a problem with their shopping cart. Top, you seem to have a problem with me, and, frankly, I don't appreciate the tone of most of your posts to me. Even these seemingly innocent ones are condescening and rude. Of course, I would expect nothing less from someone such as yourself. I would simply ask (and in future posts I will simply state this explicitly) that you not respond to any of my posts, as a general courtesy, as I don't like you AT ALL, and it's pretty obvious that the feeling is mutual.
  19. Does anyone know the cheapest place to get the small, one pound pour pots? I tried candlewic as they are $5 and change, however, shipping was going to be more than $60 for an order of 4 of them and about 15 fragrance oils (4 ounce sizes).
  20. I ordered two of their sampler packs. The only ones I've poured and burned so far are Goddess, Mata Hari, Baton Rouge and Wild Fig and Cassis. I poured them all at 6% and am not getting a great throw on the other ones, however, the Goddess is phenomenal. The Baton Rouge smells awesome and has an ok throw, but not a great one, but, it is a VERY nice scent. Might try using 10% next time. I also have Bacci De Miele, Oatmeal Milk and Honey, Lapis Lazuli, Sap Moss, Hawaiian Lei Flowers, Sapmoss, and Tryst.
  21. Beautiful fragrance and, a wonderful scent throw. You will DEFINATELY have to wick up with this one, as it's probably the hardest FO to burn I've ever tested.
  22. Old Mill carries it. It's a beautiful fragrance.
  23. Pulled out of my ass? Don't be so bitter about the fact that I called an elitist jerk like yourself out, on faulty mathematics. And, who died and made you the chandler God? You shouldn't presume to know me, or my methods of arriving at conclusions, as I don't pretend to know you, or anything you like to preach about. You should also refrain from the use of words like "ass" on a board where people are supposed to be answering questions and helping people. You also didn't answer any of the questions that I posted for you. Hmmmmmmm.
