  1. I was looking at Tureen jars. They are very cool. Do you think there is anyway to get a good melt pool in a 16 oz jar with an Eco 14? Or is the bottom too wide? I want an interesting jar, but am scared to double wick! LOL Oh and I use EzSoy TIA
  2. I like the sign Can you PM me your mom's info? I'd love to order a sign. But she best make it the way I tell her too! LOL Is there anyway to cover up that bottom part? Maybe find an acrylic paint or something
  3. I get mine from Bitter Creek. THey have a chart that shows wich ones they have tested in soy and how it works. It'll give you a good start so you don't waste money on ones that they say don't throw well. But for me I have found the following to be great throwers. But it might not be the same for you. Country Berry Hotcakes Honey Coco Mango Honeysuckle GInger Snap Cookies for Santa ( ok throw) Baked Apple ( ok throw) Pumpkin Pie Special Wildberry Zinger Tea Hot Fudge Brownie Cucumber Melon Pink Sugar ( throws great but I hate the scent! Blech) And Lavendar EO I think that's all the ones I've messed with. I have a really hard time getting Fresh Brewed Coffee to throw any kind of scent.
  4. It looks great!!! Where did you ge your tealight packaging?
  5. Those are awesome! How do the little ones in the second picture burn? Like a pillar, with an edge leftover or do you put them in a container to burn like a votive?
  6. I haven't had to wick up with this one, but I use Jelly jars and votives.
  7. Gas doesn't keep me from doing anything. ANd I think there are a lot of people who won't let gas get between them and shopping!
  8. I've burned paraffin candles and the ones I had didn't compare to the soy ones I make. And all of the scents I use will smell up most of my 1700 sq ft house.
  9. EzSoy is a copyrighted name from Bitter Creek. You can only get it there. I don't know what other waxes are like it though
  10. It is hideous, isn't it? Glad you got some good suggestions.
  11. http://www.bittercreek.com Bitter Creek rocks! I use Bitter Creek North
  12. When you use the WYW you use half the amount. So it averages out to be the same. The bubbles N lights oils are way out of my price range.
  13. I use EzSoy for containers and ecowax for votives. I haven't found a soy that can make a pillar yet
  14. His response was very snippy and rude. I'll be going to the Jar Store
  15. I am going to the Dollar Store tomorrow, so I will look. I need a few for gift baskets anyway.
  16. I use BC's oils, too. THey are awesome! They even have a chart that tells you what they have found to work in Soy and what doesn't. That way you don't waste your money on something that won't work. Personally I use this for my tarts, too, but some don't like to because it's a softer wax.
  17. I use 100% soy wax for my tarts. Works perfectly and I wouldn't use anything else. I just pack them 6 per poly pro bag and tie with a twist tie.
