  1. I wondered that myself. On my box of EzSoy it says it was a name trademarked by Bitter Creek, so I wondered if they sold it to other distributors, but just trademarked the name.
  2. I never mention paraffin when I am talking about my soy candles. I say they burn clean etc, but never compare the two. I think it is very rude.
  3. I'm sorry I can't help with that part. Could you possibly use the jelly bean mold, but keep it white? What on earth does a soy bean look like anyway ?
  4. I use my Ezsoy for tarts and don't add anything to harden it. So i would use the container wax, too, since you'd want them to melt with the rest of the candle, right?
  5. I use to add my FO at 120 but have found that adding them at 180-185 produces a great throw. It helps the oil bind to the wax better
  6. FOr the wet spots ( the air pockets) you can heat your jars a bit, then pour your wax when it is very slushy, less than 100 if possible. That's what works best for me.
  7. Neat. I wonder how they get an oil to set up like that.
  8. Is that different than a regualr candle? Is it not made with an actual wax? And did you see it's $25.95 for an 8 oz? Whoa
  9. I use ezsoy and these throw awesomely! Honey Coco Mango Hot Fudge Brownie Country Berry Hotcakes Honeysuckle Pink Sugar Cinnamon Special Vanilla Velvet Wildberry Zinger Tea
  10. I wouldn't want to know what panties smell like! lmao
  11. I have a friend who does all my logos. She is very talented and reasonably priced. e-mail me at town.countrycandles@yahoo.com and I'll give you her e-mail address
  12. The votive wax is meant to pull away from a mold and container wax adheres, so I don't think you'd be able to
  13. It's at Bitter Creek North. Either under fruit orTropical.
  14. This is a mix but I love it. Honey CocoMango from BC
  15. I use one Bounty paper towel. Those things are awesome!
  16. elapid: Any of several venomous snakes of the family Elapidae, which includes the cobras, mambas, and coral snakes. adj. Of or belonging to the family Elapidae. Do you like snakes? Welcome to Candletech! This place is awesome for any question
  17. Ive have people recommend Vanilla Extract from BCN for a pure vanilla
  18. I use BCN! THey are awesome and quite frankly, I'm afraid to use anything else.
  19. I use soy. I heat it up to 190 or so, then add my dye. at 185 or so I add my FO, then I pour at 100, when it is slushy. COmpletely different then your directions, but you'll see that it works and most everyone who uses soy will say the same. It you will need about 2 weeks of curing to get a good strong scent. Soy is very tempermental and takes lots of patience. Good Luck!
