When I first got Spruce Christmas Tree, I was disappointed. I wanted more of a pine scent (I should of known by the name). But, after making candles, I'm hooked on this one. It's awesome. So is Bayberry and Amish Harvest, Banana Nut Breat. (just to name a few). You can't go wrong with any of the above.

I have the mold and another one with the zig zag divider. You make 1 candle all 1 color, then make another candle a different color. Take it out of the mold, pull apart and mix colors. HTH I'd be more than happy to help with questions.

Can't help with the wick but wanted to say that's a cool mold! Can't wait to see the finished product

A crimper...hum...that sounds like a great idea. I usually tab my zinc wicks and haven't had a problem with them bending. I bet you could find a crimper at Michaels/JoAnn's or even a jewelry store. Thanks
