  1. Make sure the outside of the jar is clean and free of any oils otherwise they just won't stick. Failing that, I dunno, I've never had a problem with Avery lables or the store brand ones sticking to glass.
  2. Chenille is really tricky to knit. It doesn't have any 'give' so unless you keep your stitches squished up you'll end up with a lot of uneveness. The cotton dishcloth yarn, Sugar & Cream or Bernat Handicrafter is great and comes in lots of colours. Just knit every row and you'll get a nice texture.
  3. Fairy Dust & Twinkle Toes from CC VERY grapefruity and works great in soy!
  4. Just want to make sure you know not to use fragrance oils used for candles. I think you are meaning candy and that was just a typo :smiley2:
  5. PS 20, distilled water, FO/EO & preservative (Idon't bother with the preservative for personal use) Try a 2:1 ratio of PS 20 to FO. It will probably be cloudy as mine are but it will stay emulsified. I use aluminum bullets for packaging so that's not an issue.
  6. Thanks Vicky. Yes, it seems to be back up now.
  7. No, I don't do ebay anymore. Hopefully it will be back up soon.
  8. It's down, says the account is suspended. Anyone know anything or if it will be back up anytime soon? Thanks.
  9. Stainless steel creamers, the kind for restaurants. Easy to clean and they have a little spout and a handle.
  10. You're very welcome! :smiley2:
  11. Some good Canadian packaging suppliers- www.essentialpackaging.com (they're in BC) www.noblepackaging.com www.pritchard.com www.creativebag.com www.fancypak.com www.wrdisplay.ca www.luv2pak.com (Progress Packaging) There's lots in the US too. I've used and was pleased with both Nashville Wraps and Glerup Revere. HTH, have fun!
  12. I carry 5 flavors - a mint a vanilla a berry a citrus a chai Never had any luck selling a chocolate.
  13. $5.95 for the .25 oz slide tins. Easy to make, easier to display than tubes and a great markup. I realize some people prefer tubes but I have done very well with these.
  14. Mine will only sweat when I first light them, never on subsequent burns.
  15. Unfortunately WYW in Canada is no longer in business. The ONLY place to order WYW FO's is from BCN.
  16. Candle Cocoon's creme brule cafe rocks!!
  17. Holly, honestly it's the only soy I've ever used. I only have access to 2 kinds (Eco soy being the other one) of soy here and decided on the EL. I'm happy with the throw, have had lots of compliments so it must ok. I use liquid dyes and do get that frost ring after a burn. IMO every brand has it's strenghts & weaknesses but I'd rather have some frosting as opposed to sinkholes and having to do repours. Give it a try and see what you think HTH a bit!
  18. I pour cool ie. slushy using EL soy and have never had a sinkhole, airpocket or had to do a repour after being at it for almost 2 years. I hope you get it figured out!
  19. I use both the clear & frosted laser labels from Online labels. I print in black only on my laser printer so no need to waterproof them. I use them on the windows of my 8 oz window tins and for my jars. I colour my candles and want the colour to show through.
  20. Wether you go with 1 or 2 A's I think the straight font looks better. Mixing fonts, if done properly can be very effective. Good luck with your decision!
  21. This happens to me as well. All I do is smooth the cracks with my fingertip and they look perfect.
  22. I've had luck with an HTP 1212 or CD 20 or 22 depending on the FO in a similar sized container (3" side to side and 3 1/2 " corner to corner) however they aren't tapered towards the bottom.
  23. I use both the HTP's & CD's in my EL container. They burn about the same in my opinion and between the 2 series I have lots of sizes to wick pretty much any container.
