has anyone tried the new wooden wicks that candles and supplies is offering ? i wonder if they would work in soy ? i did end up purchasing a "wood n wick" candle around Christmas just to try it out.. it really burned black.. but i eventually burned the whole thing.. it burned and it did make the crackling sound that it was soppose to make... i find them intresting.. just that they burned so dang black... if i could perfect my own so the jar wouldn't get so black i think it would be really an attractive addition ... but just wondering if anyone has tried them ...

i love love the "grammy's zuchinni bread" a great seller for me.. but if you don't like bakery this may not be for you.. i also have great luck with the "Monkey farts" my customers love it...

hello has anyone ever found a good dupe of the yank patchouli ? i have a few customers that love this one.. but since i've never been a real fan of patchouli i've just never did alot of testing.. can anyone help.. thanks much

i love.. love.. snowtops creme brulee.. i call it chocolate chip cookie.. and everyone loves it.. its super strong in 415 soy and in tarts it lasts for days.. awesome.. stuff ladeanad

gosh.. i didn't even know you could add your fragrance before you add your lye solution.. i have lots to learn.. can you always do this ? I mean add the f.o before you add the lye ? wouldn't you know.. i would go and pick a fragrance oil that would seize the minute i added it ... my first batch of pumpkin cp soap turned out really nice.. my 2nd batch of pumpkin seized like crazy as well.. my 3rd batch which i used passionate kisses turned out good.. but it took forever to dry.. and today.. a blob :undecided i'm going to keep trying.. i just have to learn not to go so heavy on that darn stick blender..

Hello, can someone help me out.. I'm so dissapointed in my cp soap .. I'm just not sure what i'm doing wrong i've made only 4 batches of cp soap so far.. and I love it but sometimes it just turns into a big mess of mush !! i add my lye to my water and melt my solid oils, and than add my liquids... i let everything get to right around 95-100 i add my lye to my oil mixture.. and use my stick blender to get everything mixed.. i than added 3 oz of lilac f.o. and omg.. it turned into a big glob of mess.. what could i be doing wrong ? Do you think i'm mixing to much and before i know it.. its too thick ? i just ended up throwing this batch out.. there was no way i was even going to save this stuff.. and i'm out of lye so i couldn't get back on the band wagon and make another batch .. such a bummer.. Would anyone like to be my soap making buddy ? i really want to get this cp soap mastered but right now i feel like a total failure:undecided can someone give me some pointers ? tia !!!!

I do mine in a pretty pink color.. i have the best luck with a/h fragrance oil.. i love it.. clean and fresh smelling.. awesome scent if you like fresh

hello could anyone that uses the premier wicks help me out... does anyone know what would be comparible to a htp 1312 ? I have the pink size mason jars and i would like to have a starting point for wicking ?? i would appreciate any advice.. thanks so much

I was wondering... does anyone know if a sellers permit is the same as a sales tax id ? i would love to beable to order from levines and jackel but they request a sales tax id... and i was just wondering if there considered the same thing... can anyone help me out ?

i had a local food distributor order them for me... i use mine for lotion samples.. and tart samples as well... they work awesome.. i order alot of supplies from our local distributor... like coconut oil in bulk.. shortening in bulk.. olive oil.. everything except the lye for my soap making... it works out awesome.. good luck.. you'll find them.. ladeana

hello i made a sample up with the oil that i had left over from last year from js "my secret recipe" and i brought it into work.. and everyone really liked it.. and thought it smelled just like eggnog.. i don't really care for the eggnog scent.. but they thought it smelled like the true scent.. i wish i had some left.. if you had posted a day earlier.. i would have loved to send you a sample.. dang.. but maybe someone else will pipe in that has tried the js version.. and give you there thoughts..

yes i agree.. try some of ky's f.o. there white cloud is awesome in tarts... and seems to last in my house atleast 4-5 days.. summer breeze i also agree strongly on.... to me it smells just like the gain detergent.. but its clean and very fresh..

has anyone tried making a 100 % soy candle with lotus blossom scent ? i smelled the lotion from b & b and its awesome.. i was just wondering if it would be good in a candle... has anyone tried the fo from natures garden ? i have to place an order.. and think i may just have to get it... thanks everyone ladeana

i love.. white cloud from ky .. it lasts for days.. also fizzy pop of js is really good.. peanut butter cookie from snowtop is awesome !! downy from ng i have great luck with as well.. i know.. i have alot that fade after a few hours.. it seems the ones i have great luck with are the fresh clean scents as well as the citrusy type scents..

Hello I really love snowtops fo as well... i know i cringe every time because of the shipping... but her oils really are totally awesome.. i order from several suppliers.. and they all have there good ones !!! Its just that Angies throw so well in soy... her oils are just really hard to beat... but i know exactly what you mean.. the shipping can be a real downfall !!!
