does anyone remember which company use to carry a scent called Black Magic? I had ordered it last year to carry with my Christmas scents and this year I can't find it I did a search and Natures Garden carries it but I didn't get it from them last year.. I just can't remember.. can someone help my memory.. it may have been discontinued.. but it's driving me crazy that i can't remember..

I think i'm going to bite the bullet and try them out.. I really want to try there soy wicks and see what happens.. I just have not found a wick that i am totally happy with as of yet.. and I have been making 100% soy for 5 years now. i mainly use the htp 126 in my 8 oz jelly jars and they work okay.. my customers enjoy them and i don't receive any complaints, I just think there is a better wick out there. i'm going to give them a try this week. I did however try a new supplier called Illuminations and i enjoyed there fo and they have great sales but they didn't give me there discount and I emailed them several times but never received a reply back.. so I was alittle unhappy.. but I would definately try again as some of the fo that i received were great.

oh oh .. i don't like the sound of that.. they suck in many ways.. that does not sound good as there are so many great companies out there right now.. i was just really only intrested in there soy wicks.. now i'm a little afraid

Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered from the company Wholesale Supplies Plus?

I have been debating on trying the simple wicks for soy wax that are offered through "Wholesales Supplies Plus" I was wondering has anyone tried these wicks? They sound very intriguing.. and I was just wondering if how they compare to other wicks ? I have never ordered from Wholesale Supplies Plus.. just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company and also how there fo might be? Thanks much LaDeana

oh gosh.. yes.. i wouldn't be without insurance.. its just too risky.. so many diffrent types of skin.. i was blessed with tough as nails skin.. nothing bothers me.. but my sister is a totally diffrent story.. has to be careful with everything..

hello everyone just wondering if anyone has ever had this experience.. i have been making lip balms for a couple of months now and i have been using the base and whatever flavor oil the customer requests.. has anyone ever heard of anyone being allergic to certain types of flavor oils ? i had a friend call me.. she tried the vanilla banana i made.. and she said... her lips plumped and tingled.. she said they turned bright red.. she popped a couple of benadryl and that helped.. but she figures she had an allergic reaction.. she was so nice about it.. and said she wanted to tell me.. as her whole family was laughing at her plumpy lips.. i'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone... kind of scares me.. thank goodness it happened to someone that is a real sweetie.. and would never be upset..

i agree with Missyk on this one.. it is for sure a bakery type scent.. i think you did a great job with the description Missy.. to me it smells exactly like ng 'amish friendship' it smells really nice.. and would make nice lotions but i didn't get a real strong throw with 100 % soy.. it also makes a wonderful body spray.. hope this has helped some too

just wanted to add my two scents i haven't tried a snowtop scent that i didn't like.. if you like bakery you will love the creme brulee.. i renamed it "oreo cookie" or you could call it chocolate chip cookie.. its wonderful.. and scents my whole house within minutes of lighting.. i also have customers who will only buy the cranberry orange spice.. the lemon gumdrop is great.. lilac is so realistic is unbelievable. i truely don't think you will be unhappy with any of the scents.. i've tried them all.. the apple is great for fall.. and is a wonderful seller.. for lavender lovers.. true lavender is the bomb.. if you have any questions on any of the scents feel free to pm me.. i use 415 soy and htp 126 in my 8 oz jelly jars.. carmel nut cluster is awesome... though its a heavier oil... i sell alot of tarts in this one.. another bakery lover scent that can't be beat.. i'm truely happy as i think ics has wonderful.. wonderful scents so this is going to be great !!! Though i'm going to miss Angie terribly.. i'm happy Kathy has taken this on... Kathy has awesome customer service.. wonderful oils.. and now with snowtop scents.. i promise you... this is going to be heaven

oh my goodness... i am in complete shock.. Snowtop and Angie were my very first supplier.. i have used all of there oils... and truely if you use soy these are the best.. i have never had one scent that didn't throw well... imo they are the best !!! you can't beat them.. the cranberry orange spice, creme brulee, true lavender, lilac blossoms..etc...etc.. i can not think of one that wasn't good.. they are all so true to the scent name and the throw always rocked !!! i am going to miss Angie dearly !!! but thank goodness we can still purchase the oils through ics.. and i like that Kathy uses flat rate shipping.. that will help on shipping costs.. hello everyone my daughter is getting married and she wants to make the candy bar wraps for the regular sized hershey candy bar.. does anyone know of a cute place to find a template greared towards a wedding ? I've done a google search but just am not finding what i'm looking for.. these candy bars will be for the men.. for the women she is making a cute little bride/groom standing on top of a wedding cake soap favor.. and wrapping them in cello and than she will have a label .. with there names and stating that its soap ... hopefully no one takes it out of the wrap and bites into it.. thats what my fear would be.. thanks much..

was just wondering what company do you use for your lip balm flavorings ? i've used bittercreek north and my customers really like the flavors.. but was wondering if there are more companys out there that offer .. thanks much ladeana

just wondering if anyone has any reviews on flickers fragrance oils ? i just ordered 15 of the sample size.. i really wanted to try the patchouli's so i ordered all 3 of them.. and couldn't just stop there.. so i ordered her 15 pk i searched on the board for reviews but i didn't see much for flickers.. i'm going to give them a try and can hardly wait to get them

i have some 1312 ht wicks.. i wonder if those would work in a 8 oz jj ? glad you were able to get yours to work.. i think i'm going to order some from natures garden and try there.. when i sniff the yank** votive.. it has a nice perfumy scent to it as well.. i like that... and i'm trying to find some type of dupe to yank, anyone know what might come close ?

i believe patchouli is just a real bugger all the way around.. i have a couple of friends who are huge yank** patchouli fans.. and they have a really hard time finding the candles.... they asked a clerk.. and she told her.. the reason being is they are so hard to wick...and that is why they always have such a shortage on the candles being on the shelves.. after my friend told me that.. i thought.. hummm... its a pain to get wicked.. but i sure would like to figure it out... so i can make all the fans of patchouli there candles i'm not a huge fan of pat. but theres so many that just love it !!! i'm going to keep searching to figure this one out ladeana

just wondering if anyone has some new reviews on the patchouli .. i have a request for patchouli sou candles.. i tried a/h and it just didn't seem that strong in the wax.. i also tried b/c north and i tried 1 oz per pound and i'm not noticing a very good cold throw.. i'm going to try and let cure a bit longer.. and see what happens.. but so far not much luck.. do you know of a good supplier that has the e.o ? i may go that route and see what happens.. thanks much' ladeana

i too had that problem and thought to myself... what the heck am i to do now.. until i found the little shrink wrap band for the lip balm tubes at ky.. works awesome.. and i feel better selling my balms since there shrink wrapped.. there inexpensive.. and they work really nice... ladeana
