But I'll be back for more very soon and give that one a test too. Can't resist Lol! & I'm sorry I meant check Facebook for Indigo Fragrance if you decide to order there. I haven't seen any Indiana Candle codes yet.

Cornbread Muffins is so spot on.. Also I love her Lavender! May I ask why you're doing a phone order vs. ordering online?
  3. Fresh Baked Bread from Indigo Fragrance smells just like a soft pretzel from Auntie Anne's.. I absolutely LOVE it & get lots of compliments on how accurate it is!😍& They also have a Peanut Butter oil! & For Cinnamon Buns, I agree- Indiana Candle! She has lots of awesome oils.. Sugar Milk, Zucchini Bread, Frosted Sugar Cookie, and more! I could go on and on she has lots of my go-to's! And also.. 4. Maple Street has the round clamshell coming soon.. I saw some pictures on Facebook of it! I think that might be the round one you're thinking of. Also if you search "round pie melt clamshell" on Google another supplier comes up as well..I've never heard of them though. But yes those are super cute! I got a box that of Maple Street clams that says PVC on them, however I did see on Facebook before in the Maple Street group that they are PET. So I'm confused on that. However I did melt a scent that kind of picked of the plastic skunk smell and it did not hurt the throw, or throw off the scent, so that's promising
  5. Wow thank you! That gives me hope, I will have to give those a try!
  6. May I ask if you guys use paraffin or soy? Or a mix? That seems to be a factor so I'm just curious. I never thought to air them out.. And I should give Indiana Candle a shot, I love their oils. Thank you all!
  7. Oh wow..I wonder what it is about soy that helps with that. I really hope it's something as simple as use PET and not PVC.. what a relief that would be Lol! I really need to test more too..I don't want to give up just yet.
  8. Do you know if they’re PVC or PET? I saw a PVC label on my box when they arrived but I could of swore I read PET somewhere before. Also that some soy blends don’t have that problem whereas paraffin will.. it’s tricky. I really like them too so I’m hoping to figure out what’s off for me.
  9. Thanks Laura! Thank you for your feedback! Maple's say PVC on the box I received them in.. So that is a good point because I did hear that PET are better for clamshells supposedly. Something about PVC breaks down faster/is a thinner plastic? But I'm not 100% sure, I'm still new to clamshells..I thought everything was fine and dandy til I smelled that skunk smell and I tried to investigate to see what's going on.😂 I may just have to try a new supplier to see & some PET clamshells. I don't want to give up just yet. Appreciate your help! Thank you!
  10. Same here Belinda! It varies per oil/blend for me too. I love doing shapes too but I agree clams are very convenient, so it's a bummer to have to worry about what may or may not smell. I did see on Flaming Candle's site for their clams they said- "While we have heard of some wax melt clamshell molds having a plastic smell, our clamshells do not have a plastic smell. We have also found fragrances with vanilla create a burnt plastic smell in clamshells and do not recommend using vanilla scents or fragrances with a vanilla base in clamshells." But their clamshells are almost double the price of Maple.😯 I'm just wondering if that's the whole issue-- scents with vanillin in them picking up plastic?
  11. Maybe I will test some others out.. I just can't pour at too low of a temperature or my wax cools and then the tops are left kinda bubbly on top. So it gets crazy trying to do a bunch of clams when the wax is cooling away Lol! Maybe I'll see if 155-160 or lower will help at all. Thank you!
  12. Wow that's so crazy! Was it the same dreaded skunky smell? I wish it wasn't so hit or miss especially when I'm always sure to pour below the recommended 170. I'm stumped. I just don't want to have to pop out every clam I make and sniff it to be sure Lol I feel like I can't un-smell it now😂
  13. I recently tested clamshells to add to my line up.. And so far so good! But when I pop some of the clams out, some scents are ending up with a skunky smell.. 😯 I have heard of this before..but I am pouring at the recommend pour temp of below 170. I think the clams are PET, they're from Maple St. (Love this company! Not upset with them at all, I know it's user error🙋‍♀️) So I'm just wondering what else could be causing this.. Maybe some fragrance oils are more prone to doing this esp. lighter or ones with vanillin? Maybe I should pour even warmer than 170? Hoping for some tips or maybe a different clamshell to avoid this? I love these and most are amazing but when I have some turning up skunky it just has me paranoid Lol! Also, my wax is paraffin! Please help if you have any ideas. Thank you!
  14. Check out Unicorn Pop Tarts from Just Scent! I have a sample & it really does smell like a fruity pop tart!
  15. I really like Lilac from NG as well! It smells spot on, Just like the lilac bush in my yard!
  16. Hi! I'm new here so I hope this is in the right spot.. Just looking for help on a scent I need. Purple Cow was my go to grape oil, I just love it! It's a grape with vanilla like the popsicles. But sadly it's out of stock from the shortage and has been for a while😪 I ended up finding Grape Popsicle from Indigo which was the same thing, I was so happy & it worked great.. until I went back for more and that one went out of stock too😂 I'm curious if anyone knows of any similar scents? A lot of people say it smells like a Grape Kool-Aid. I am testing Grape Blow-Pop from Maple Street. Any help or ideas would be appreciated! Thank you!😆
  17. Check out Apple & Pumpkin Strudel from RE! It's really good & sounds like something you might enjoy!
  18. Of course! You’re going to love them! They have really good Lush brand dupes too. I recently added some of those on. (Rose Jam, Iced Wine, Lord Of Misrule) Also their Chai Tea, Maraschino Cherry, Skittles, as well as Captain Crunch Berries.. it really is just like the cereal! Lol I still have lots I want to try from them but so far nothing but awesome scents! If you check their Facebook page too they do monthly deals such as 10% off $50 or free shipping on $100. I think the free shipping deal is on right now!
  19. Yay of course, I love to help and if I can offer a good recommendation I don't mind at all! I do a fun blend of grape jelly with peanut butter & fresh bread! So I was excited to see this! I just love Indigo's oils! I'm glad you sampled it. Thanks for that, I appreciate it! Good luck to you too!
  20. Hi, I have a question if you don't mind..I just got a new pot for melting wax, Upgraded from my Presto to a bigger pot.. There has been lots of testing to get the temperature perfect. The Presto was such a breeze Haha Well, yesterday I melted over 20lbs and finally had that setting all perfected, but then today there was a little amount of wax and we had the heat up too high for the bigger batch😨 well the little bit that was left in there melted super fast and was temped at 212 or so and usually we keep it below 200. It does have a sort of burnt smell to it..I've never had this happen so I'm wondering what to do or if anyone else has experienced this. I'm currently testing an ounce that I blended just to see if it smells off. But just wondered if you had any thoughts on this? I'd hate to throw out that wax but if it has me questioning it I won't bother with it. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
  21. I'm new so I'm not sure if I can post links? But Indigo Fragrance has an amazing Peanut Butter! It's so spot on!
  22. Sweet Tooth from RE is one of my FAVES! I’m so bummed it’s still out of stock, I’m almost out. 😟 I’m also curious if JS’s version “Sweet Tooth” is the same? If anyone knows how the 2 compare I would be so happy! I am tempted to just dive in and buy 16oz!
