  1. Ohh I though I will order mistletoe and maybe ten samples....Now I have 80 in my cart...what's wrong with me?????????...I have to step away from the computer...far away...maybe go outside...maybe down the street!! Every time I tried to cut back and removed one I somehow manage to add two or three new ones.
  2. That was my concern a number of the bottles are quite misshapen ...shipping on glass bottles is too expensive so I thought I would order some plastic amber bullet or Boston round bottles. There are also some fragrances in big metal drums that I thought might be better to be out of there......I need a wack of bottles
  3. That's great news JC . I don't have a very good nose but I will definitely give them a good sniff ....I was going to purchase some amber plastic bottles and repackage some of them...not sure how long a plastic bottles with fragrance in them would last.?
  4. All of their labels still say candlepro.com even the bottles I just got in. Now the bottles themselves are printed with nature garden, but, the label they print to note the fragrance has candlepro. So, your oils may not be old at all. wouldn't that be wonderful....looking at everything I have I imagine some items are maybe 8 to max 12 years old. wonder if that is still an OK shelf life for fragrances .? I was worried that I may have to repackage the oils into new bottles ( I was more concerned about the age of the plastic containers than the oils...I don't want any big leaks) Now what do I do with 20lbs of licorice scent
  5. Thanks Sebleo, Thats Great...interesting that they continued using candle pro packaging ...I really would never have figured it out! I got over 275 lbs of fragrance oils from a chandler closing shop so if they're still viable it will be a treat!!
  6. Ahh always a wealth of information OK so let see if I can test you even further...Did they changed their name to Natures garden in 1997 or did they start as candle-pro in 1997 and if so what year did they become natures garden...I can always contact the company but this is more fun Has anyone ordered from Chemessence ....how are their fragrances? Found some info on Royal Aroma but it looks like they custom fragrances for customers The reason I'm asking all these questions is that I got a huge load of fragrances and some appear to be quite old...not sure how they will do in wax...not even sure how long fragrances last?
  7. Wonder if anyone has heard of a supplier called... ROYAL, WILLOWOODS, CANDLES & SUPPLIES , CHEMESSENCE , CANDLE PRO or INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE & TECHNOLOGY??
  8. So I’ve registered my LLC with my state and gotten all my business licenses and tax permits. I am going to start selling at some local markets around me. What would be some good ideas to display my candles? I can’t really think of anything besides just putting them on the table. Any ideas are welcome, thank you! It really depends on the style you want to portray...do you want a country look? or perhaps french country? or upscale minimiasit and modern...decide that first. Then think of height...no one wants to just see a flat table of stuff. Think about customers from across the room...can they see your stand? you want to lure them in. Michaels sells crates that make great shelving on top if your table and they can be stained or painted to suite your decor. Vista print can print off big banners that you could hang on the wall behind you for a more professional look. if you want to do it without spending any money you can always pot your smaller shipping boxes on your table and throw a nice crisp white tablecloth on top...this should give you some height variation to display on. Look around your house for props...perhaps a vintage scale that you could place a few candles on? I think you get the idea.
  9. I just sit here laughing when anyone complains about the cost of wax..or shipping hahahah...try buying it from Canada ....oh and don't forget our dollar is worth diddly-squat! Anyways forget all that we do it for the love...right? or in my case to use up my stash...dare I say hoarders collection of fragrances. Anyways WELCOME Christina!!
  10. ever smell a candle and wonder what is that scent? I just can't put my finger on it? ...probably a hidden stinker
  11. Yes it was....Glad to hear you liked it Scented maybe I should have ordered a bigger bottle..but you always wonder "why is it in the clearance section"?...is it a stinker?
  12. thanks for the recommendations JC and GailC ...really appreciate it....can't wait for my package!
  13. no thermometer JC? Now you have me curious? Please don't tell me you dip your finger in
  14. This is the first time I have ordered from Aztec and am just making a list of fragrances to try Has anyone tried these? Thoughts or suggestions much appreciated. What do you think about purchasing reformulated fragrances ...no urgency for me and can wait until things are back to normaljust have'n heard an complaints about reformulated fragrances. Sea Minerals (reformulated) cantaloupe & lily Brazilian coffee & pure cane (reformulated) blackstrap molasses barnwood leaves orange blossom (reformulated) carrot cake cactus and sea salt (reformulated) pink lilac & willow reformulated) volcano (capri blue) (reformulated) melon wildflower pink sugar (reformulated) olive oil bergamot copper coconut Black sea
  15. hey Trapp did you ever order those scents from Just Scents?? I'm really curious how you liked them?
  16. Hi Quentin I posted this question several weeks ago ...there where tons off great suggestion...I listened to them and bought two of the suggested scales ...Kd 8000 and a smaller on recommended by sponibr
  17. Hahaha Great idea... there's a good chance they would be....I haven' t made any in a very looong time !!
  18. So I just ended up with a few hundred pillar candle molds.....really don't make pillar candles...but I guess I could....or I could just sell the molds and focus on my containers...yes I'm leaning towards selling. Just wondering what you guys think ...what is more profitable...pillar candles or container candles...where's the bigger market?
  19. hi smellywax Yes I have read that and it's good information...but I'm unsure of the size...Honestly I am thinking that its just not worth the effort .to test ...hate to waste 6000 plus wicks ....
  20. please excuse my ignorance Flicker ...I only know wicks by HTP Series, Eco series, LX Series, and even then its a struggle I saw that someone kindly wrote on the boxes what they used them in (that definitely helps)...but not with what kind if wax....although I suspect it was straight paraffin looks like some more research is needed I had hoped I might be able to utilize some of them with a 464/4630 blend...May just have to sell all the wicks along with the pillar candle molds they came with! Wonder if anyone here needs pillar molds....perhaps I better place an add in the classies! Thanks a ton for your help Flicker!
  21. Is it just the black lids your looking for Reliquar? What size are they? I have lots that I don't need...if they are the right size... you can have them for the cost of shipping....I will post a picture later this afternoon
