  1. Thanks CB , I love Honeysuckle & have had a hard time finding one that is spot on to the real deal . Do you think Fillmores smells like the real deal? I could not resist getting the peach preserves ,love peach scents & sounds so delicious. Thank you for your referral too.Happy Easter to you! 😀
  2. I have to try the Peach preserves ,love anything peach .The description sounds wonderful .I am thinking it will be a good one .Yes definitely think the Apple pie will be great with caramel . I love blending oils to make unique scents . I am so excited to receive my new addition oils .Oh can't wait for the Orange Creamsicle & Balsam fir .I appreciate your recommendations on all the oils .Thank you always Trapp!😀😀😀
  3. Moonstar is correct ,the 4630 is too soft for brittle . I recommend pillar /votive for brittle .I know there are many to choose from .I use CW 129 for brittle ,performs great .
  4. Trapp ,I am thinking about adding Fillmore Peach preserves ,sounds sooooo good.Have you tried this one ? I love a good peach scent.I hate buying a sample & have to turn around and order a big bottle , especially since this order I am placing is huge kwim .Gotta get all I can with the ship cost 👍Hope if anyone has tried their Peach preserves will chime in for me .
  5. Belinda you read my mind .I was just commenting to Trapp about adding a good caramel to the Apple pie lol.Lol I love enablers .Thank you bunches 😀😀😀
  6. So glad the oils are in glass ,good to know .I am ready for Apple pie from Fillmore .I plan to use it on it's own & of course will have to add a splash of caramel to this one too.I want to add Apple Pie & Caramel Apple pie to my scent list .I am thinking about the creme brulee you referred as a blender to this scent .I have been waiting a few weeks to finally get my order done with Filmore ,seems something always comes up at the last minute ,long story .It's going to be DONE today lol..
  7. Goldie, thank you for your referral. I am so excited about this order from Fillmore .I see sooooo many I would like to try ,hard to resist lol.I received a order from Flaming a few days ago & wanted to let you know their Caribbean Salsa smells so good OOB.I am excited to get this one in the wax .This one reminds me of the Orange chili pepper ,however a bit sweeter .Thinking it us going to be perfect for the summer season .I appreciate your Fillmore referral ,will take me the rest of the day to make my final purchase.I am so slow when buying from a new supplier ,my cart is filling up fast .
  8. Thanks Trapp, I am looking forward to my Fillmore order .I am thinking the Apple Pie is just what I am looking for ,the crust comes thru along with the Apple .I never thought of selling Balsam during the Spring/Summer seasons .I think your right ,I should give it a try .I find most customers that like these type scents ,enjoy them anytime of the year .I do get request for the Frasier Fir alot since I offered it during Christmas .Thank you for the referral on this one a while back as well.I have Candlescience ,WSP and Candlewic Frasier ,all 3 are wonderful imo.I see so many fragrances on Fillmore site ,so hard to resist .I will let you know after I pay my final choices .LOL I guarantee I will go overboard with this order .This will be a newly added supplier for me . I appreciate & value your opinion always! 😀
  9. Will try this one too😀I like many from Flaming .
  10. Thanks Trapp,I will place the order along with Orange Sherbet from Filmore.I like many from Indiana , will get some Apple strudel from them as well. I am excited to try Filmore oils for the first time .I have my cart loaded with more you recommended from them .Do you think the Balsam fir will be ok to store until fall? I have this one in my cart with Daffidel,Lemon biscotti & a few more you mentioned.I like to order the pound bottles & save on shipping .Thank you bunches 😀
  11. I have never used 4786 , curious how well this wax would perform for melts.I do not know the melting point ,maybe someone will chime in about the 4786 .Do you use 4786 ? If so how well does it perform with each melts ? Thanks 😀
  12. Definitely have to blend the two for clamshells imo.I know many Crafters use this blend & get great results ,including me.Belinda is correct in advising a 50-50 blend for cups .This will also work great with clamshells ,pops right out of the molds with ease.I do different ratios with both , depends on what molds I use.Hope this helps answer your question .
  13. Welcome! You will learn so much on this site,so many Crafters with a huge amount of knowledge.I have certainly learned so much myself since joining 😀
  14. Thank you so much .Can you smell the baked crust in this oil? I get many request for Apple Pie & hope to get a good one soon .I have never ordered from BCN ,have heard good reviews with some of their oils thou. Do you use paraffin ?
  15. I am looking for a good apple pie fragrance oil ,including the crust .I use paraffin .Hoping someone can give me a super recommendation, TIA 😀
  16. The 4630 /4625 blended is not good for brittle .I use this blend for melts with great results. The brittle needs a good hard pillar wax ,breaks very easily .Hope this helps to answer your question on brittle .I recommend CW 129 or any high melt point pillar votive to make good brittle .
  17. I have never used 4627 and have some on order to test with TCS wax .I read such good reviews on this messy wax ,thought this may help to blend with the wax .I am thinking about 10 oz of TCS and 5.4 4627 idk just a test blend to see what results I get.I think if your getting good results with TCS wax now ,maybe this is back to the older version .If I can work with the 4627 without hating the mess I often hear about ,maybe this will be a good solution to smooth out the wrinkles ,if I get a long lasting good throw .I will certainly let you all know the results I get 😀
  18. Did you get Loraine to agree to send you the slab form tart blend? I miss the old tart blend .I want to order TCS tart blend to test again ,however skeptic due to the results not being great as it once used to be . I use 4630/4625 blend with awesome results .I also like CW 129 for some scents . I used to use TCS tart blend in the past ,however my last order was definitely not the same wax .I ordered 10 lbs back in the fall. I hope the mystery with this wax gets solved eventually lol...Thank you bunches !
  19. I love Candlesource Pink sugar ,super strong and spot on dupe of the original .
  20. I love the smell of Hydrangeas , especially around Easter . I also have a blend of Pink Sugar & Hydrangea curing for a new scent blend .I love to blend Pink sugar with anything I can get my hands on lol...Great blender oil imo.
  21. Trapp ,you crack me up .I am always the one that has to empty the trash on my porch ,after my brothers night of beer drinking lol....It does just stink so bad. I do love to smell Peach Bellini oil ,however it is way different than beer smell lmao..Your post made me laugh till I was near tears this morning 😀😀😀
  22. Candlemakers store has a awesome Italian creme cake ,has coconut notes and smells Wonderful.
  23. I really love 129 ,no bumpy tops and the throw is great .I do find myself using the 4625 /4630 blend alot more lately.I think the melts last longer with this blend .I have not any issue with this blend taking fragrances ,as with 129 can be a bit picky with many scents .I certainly do want to settle on just 1 wax or blend soon.Shipping charges really get to be a issue with different waxes .I have also had good luck with Candlesource tart blend in the past ,until they switched wax .I think lovelyscents has ordered from CS lately & appears they are back to the original good tart wax blend . I use the hot plates with my melts for testing .I know what you mean about patience ,I do not have any at all for cooling ,curing etc..lol.I guess that's the reason I do not care for soy ,cannot stand to wait on cure time .
  24. I use CW 129 & get very good results ,however I have never used the 141 to compare. I also use a blend of 4625 &4630 .I just received some 464 & experimenting with a blend of 4630,4625 &464 , curious to see the results with wax melts .I do have a sample of the 141. The melting point is high ,so I was concerned how tarts may melt in low watt burners idk.
