  1. Does it smell like the early original Herbal Essence ? Lol love shampoo oils .I am excited to get Gee your hair Smells terrific from Oregan Trails .I have biolage oil,not into the wax yet .
  2. Lol yes Trapp is great at Enabling us right .I value her opinion always .Oh yes Herbal Essence is wonderful .I think Candlemakers Store has this one ,I know I have seen it before.I will check & let you know .Yes that Gee YHST shampoo smelled so good in my hair ,lol way way back in the day .I am excited to get the oil & test .I am still adding to my Oregan Trails cart.I remember the past couple of years FB had 30% off all oils .I to am waiting for that sale.I try to order my favorites during this sale always .The list is long ,now they are carrying Peak oils ,so will get longer lol.No end to Fragrance oil addiction .Gail just keep pouring ,you will get your stock down hopefully ,I am in the same boat . Wayyyyy too many oils πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
  3. I think I will give this one a try ,been wanting to try it for a while.I also want to order some of the newly added scents , especially Parsley Lime .Did you order any of the new ones yet ? If so which ones did ya get ? Lol I sure don't need any oils ,just so tempting with all the new ones .I am in process of ordering some from Oregan Trails ,Trappeurs fault on this lol...Glad she posted about their S'mores being spot on to McCalls candle scent .They have Gee your Hair Smells Terrific ,love this smell in shampoo back in the 1970's ,remember it so well.I am not much on florals ,however love this one .I hope this oil works in my wax .Thanks Gail πŸ˜€
  4. I did try Spice in the wax ,no such luck for me .This scent did not smell good to me at all. The Christmas Essence was another no go as well. I do love most all CW ultimate bold scents & will continue to purchase .Can you describe Clementine & Daisy ? This has been on my list to try for a long while now .Thank you Gail πŸ˜€
  5. Absolutely agree with your point Trapp.I have only used 4630 alone & got very good results, with what very little experience I have had. If the day ever comes for me to actually start selling candles , personally I would only use 4630 without adding any other wax to it .Lol I have a long road to go as far as testing scents containers ,fragrance, wicks etc....I have no desire to add any other wax to the 4630 for candles .I do blend this wax for melts with pillar ,however that is a totally different product .I do get your point about blending .The 4630 wax performs so well alone imo. I look forward to others response to your question.
  6. Your very welcome ,I will get these out to you tomorrow .I am glad you like them ,at least they will get put to good use .I have way to much fragrance oil & keep buying more lol...
  7. Shelly, Would you like my bottles of Spice & Christmas Essence ? I will be happy to send it to you.You may have better luck with it in your wax .Send me your address private message ,I will mail these to you ,no charge .Lol we all have different sense of smell & I never use these .Maybe you can use the both of these scents πŸ˜€
  8. I have never tried the Dragons blood or Egyptian musk .I do think every company can & does sell old stock .I will continue to buy my favorites of course .I have learned to order samples first .I have lost to much money jumping in on the pound bottles before trying samples .I do love Candlewic products thou.πŸ˜€
  9. It has to be a bad batch then ,neither of my oils are good at all.I do love Candlewic oils & surprised both of these scents were so Not good .Lol hope this makes sense .
  10. Trapp ,I am watching your thread to get tips as well. I do not have alot of experience with candle making ,have poured some for myself.I used 4630 ,pour temp at 160 ,no sink holes on the ones I have made ,great throw with a 3 day cure time .I only used zinc or hemp wicks .The zincs did soot on my jars ,so hope to get some good tips here .I do think you will like the 4630 πŸ˜€ I buy 4630 from Flaming & Aztec for my wax melts ,shipping not to awful to Tx .
  11. Do you use 4630 on it's own for melts ?Just curious if this may be to soft for melts without adding a pillar/votive with it .Thanks you kindly πŸ˜€
  12. LOVE ! It is now my favorite bakery smell .... It is very addictive right
  13. I have only made candles for myself & family members. I have always used 4630 with zinc or hemp wicks . I will add 4630 has been a one pour wax for me ,pouring at 160 . I have only made a handfull of scents with candles ,would love to find the time for more testing & pouring candles . I know many experienced paraffin candle crafters here will chime in for you . I did pour a Citronella Orange candle last week 4786 with zinc wick ,had some left from a long while back during my wax testing stage for melts. The candle has a great throw on my porch ,keeps the pesty mosquitoes away . The 4786 does require a second pour . I do not have the patience for this at all . If I had to choose between 4630 & 4786 ,definitely would go with 4630 . I know you will the perfect paraffin wax your looking for. Your a candle making QUEEN.
  14. Moonstar ,I know this was posted a while back. I just wanted to let you know I did order 1 pound of the lemon biscotti. I absolutely love this scent ,amazing throw in my paraffin wax blend . Thank you bunches
  15. Trapp, look right below the flashpoints & the word candle will have ratings. Oh also at the very very bottom of the page is customer feedback .The reviews from customers are very minimal .I am going by where it says Candle below the f points on the page after you click on the scent .I am still deciding on the ones I want to order .The French peach sounds wonderful ,it has the French name then in parentheses French Peach .The Hot cocoa & Marshmallow sounds promising for candles as well .I will let you know my list soon as I make my final selections.
  16. Trapp ,I blend 4630 &4625 for wax melts .I also keep Candlewic 129 on hand for many scents .I know 4630 is a wonderful wax on it's own for candles .It is a one pour wax, no sink holes & Wonderful scent throw .
  17. I can see I am in real trouble now , way way to many great sounding oils .Lol I hope we have good results because I will be filling the cart .I noticed this is a soap company ,so here's hoping the oils will perform in wax.I do see some reviews on many with good reviews in wax .Sometimes I just talk to much lol.. Excitement I suppose πŸ˜€
  18. Have not checked ship to Tx ,so guessing will be high for me as well.I will pay it thou ,just have to try this oil .Yes it seems it never ends with high price ship.I remember my Filmoore ship was extremely high .Gosh Oregon Trails have some amazing sounding oils .Let's hope these work out in wax .I use paraffin ,so I can recommend the ones I get that work for me .Lol I may need some soy advice before this is over from you ....Thanks again Trapp ,so excited .
  19. Lol. Gyhst is my short for Gee your hair Smells Terrific πŸ˜€It was my all time favorite shampoo back in the late 70's .I have actually seen the original on eBay for around $40 a bottle .I just loved the smell ,each time my hair moved ,I could smell this scent ,just adore this scent.I wish the shampoowas still around .I am going to try my hand at making my own,now that I see OT has the oil. I am definitely going to try the Coconut Breeze ,Gyhst, Marshmallow campfire ,along with many more .I am working on my list & will let you know when I am ready to order πŸ˜€
  20. Congrats Trapp on finally finding your most loved scent.I just read this post , I to will now have another supplier to add .Lol it's ok have one I am dropping.I have been searching for a long time for Gee your hair Smells Terrific ,same as the shampoo I loved way way back lol. I see Oregan Trails has this one ,so thank you for your post .I will definitely be trying this supplier for some scents favorites . I will also order the S'mores scent .I hope this turns out a Winner for you,so excited to try Oregon Trails .Thank you bunches for your post .I adore GYHS Terrific , probably as much as you do the McCalls fav .πŸ™Œ
  21. Parsley Lime & Coconut Coral sound interesting . I have had very few duds with CW . Spice & Christmas Essence I do not recommend ,both smell very weird to my nose . I threw both these scents to the trash ,would not even consider giving these to anyone ,much less try to sell them to anyone . I will add that I do love most all the others & I do use many CW oils . I order mostly the Ultimate & Bold selection.
  22. Trapp, I love the labels & any one of these will certainly catch the eye.I love the colored fairy as well . Do you still want some Fairy name suggestions ? I am sure everyone can come up with some awsome unique names to help you with your Fairy line. I really love Candlewics Wild Maine blueberry fragrance oil. I call it "Fairy Berries" ,wonderful oil with a variety of notes such as blueberry ,loganberry & more. I will send you a sample if you want to try . I keep a pound bottle of this one always . I am offering in case you do not have this oil. The labels are adorable . Oh another great name for floral fruity type is Fairy Princess & Fairy Wings . Hope this helps & can think of more if you'de like.
  23. I would like to know myself. I have thinking about doing a blend of parafifn & coconut wax . I make wax melts with paraffin for a long while now .I have no experience with soy .I hope some soy users will chime in on this subject. I know many here use soy . I see your a new member .Welcome ! You will certainly learn alot here on Craft Server . I appreciate so many here with their knowledge & advice .
  24. Belinda , I recently watched a video on you tube about aroma beads with the Soap Queen lady ,think this her name . Gosh I will have to go back & check . It is not the bramble berry lady .She recommended aroma beads from Sentimental Gifts .She spoke very highly about the quality of these beads . I was interested in making car ornies ,so started watching videos & found this information. I thought maybe she is correct about the quality ,since reading poor reviews on so many other beads not performing so well. I have no knowledge of this company & was looking at their site today ,just thought I would let you know. I priced the uscented beads at 5lbs for $17.99 . They do offer different weights & prices on the beads . I am willing to pay a bit more for great quality . Oh this company also has fragrance oils lol... Sorry to enable on oils ,wanted to pass on the info I received about the beads to you. I may grab 5 lbs & give it a try . I also see this company has already scented beads as well. I did see a leather oil ,along with many more interesting fragrance oils. These run $2.75 an oz . I may have to order a few samples to check out the quality of their oils also. I think maybe this company may be worth a try on the beads ....Lol & may find some good fragrance oils .I may place an order to find out kwim
