  1. Does anyone have suggestions for strong fragrance oils to use in soy wax that will help eliminate pet or food odors? I am looking to create candles with scents that help get rid of weird scents in the home, like cooking fish or wet dog smell. Also looking for great scents that can calm dogs/cats, like lavender etc. Any specific FO suggestions?
  2. I am thinking that many companies use toxic additives to create such strong scent that they send you out of the chair...I know that mixing DOA can really enhance the scent, but I am worried about inhaling those chemicals! I have tried about 10 FO providers, and I think Candle Cocoon has the strongest scents so far. Flaming Candle and Candle Science are a little hit-and-miss, but good choices. Regarding Save On Scents, I agree with the above poster that the quality has deteriorated and I feel like the FO I loved is often chemical smelling and weird. The Extreme quality can be difficult ti work with; I prefer the Ultra.
  3. Save on Scents has a "Juicy Fruit" scent that actually reminded me of jello; it is the same sweet fruity candy smell-good luck!
  4. Brand new here! I just received Flaming Candle's lavender and it is a definite winner. The cold throw is excellent-it is still curing, but it is the strongest lavender I have tested. Candle Science Lavender is a close runner-up, but I think the Flaming Candle is a little more sophisticated and complex, as well as stronger.
