  1. Looks bad. I emailed them and got " Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently "
  2. Thanks, ChrisR - I do like the Raspberry Cordial in wax! and the Black Raspberry I have done in melt and pour soap. It's nice...and I'm going to test pour it in wax next week. Glad to hear you like it! I actually do love that Cajun Raspberry Ice but it is basically all flowers to me. I am going to try it in soap, too (m&p)
  3. Hi all. I tested this in wax and the scent is heavy on the florals to me. The description is, ..."a very strong spicy, raspberry fragrance with a great scent throw." I emailed to Cajun asking if this was supposed to have florals in it and I never got a response. I just want to know if I got a bottle with the wrong label or if this really is a fruit and floral blend and not supposed to be just raspberry. Has anyone tried this? TIA!
  4. Moonstar, so far, for my parasoy melts: - Orange Pekoe Tea - did not smell good in my wax so didn't test for remelt - Daffodil - another that did not smell good so didn't test for remelt - Pumpkin Spice Chutney - I liked it but had no throw on remelt - Christmas Tree - great scent, throw, and great throw on remelt - Iced Lemon Biscotti - great scent but short duration...need to test again - Cinnamon Cider - really nice scent with good remelt - Cranberry Plum - first melt was good, remelt was too low I really love the scent of the Creamy Chai Latte, tho. I might make melts just for me with it! I have lots more to test, Fillmore is relatively new for me.
  5. Thanks, FB157... I will have to order some large sized before then, so won't save any money! . I'll also order some samples now so I can at least get a sale price (hopefully) in July if I like any of them. I also emailed them... to check on their 20 for $20 sample sizes. This is an annual sale, in July.
  6. Hi! I should have said this was for wax melts! One of my requirements for melts is that they have a successful "remelt". If I turn the burner off and let the wax cool completely, I want to be able to melt it again and get some decent throw, especially in a different room. Fortunately or unfortunately, not all scents from the same supplier have this quality! So, I have to test the re-melt for every FO. I've had to pass over some great ones because I get zero re-melt from them.
  7. Hi! I just tested Pure Fragrance Witches Brew. I loved it ... should I test another one? It was my first time smelling this scent. This had nice throw but not super strong but the scent was great, just not sure if it is the "best" or "closest" to the original. (I have good luck with Flaming and WSP for my soaps and melts and I see they both have Witches Brew). I'm getting tired of comparing vendors...but it does pay off!
  8. Thanks, kandlekrazy and TallTayl! I'm on the newsletter and they do have specials sometimes but I've never seen an FO sale (I've been on the newsletter for less than a year so didn't know if there was an annual sale that just hadn't come up yet). The first time I ordered from Flaming Candle I didn't know they had an annual FO sample sale and I ordered samples only a few weeks before getting a notice of the sale! I'll order RE this week...I plan to try the Sweet Tooth and Homespun Sugar recommended in another thread. And Sea Island Grapefruit. Need to find a strong one! I;ve had good luck with a number of RE oils so far. I also ordered samples from BW and EBB this week! Yikes.
  9. Hi - I have only just found some good oils from RE and would love to know if they ever have sales on their oils?
  10. I am trying to order some one-ouncers from Elements Bath & Body. I was going to try French Vanilla for wax melts but the sizes under four ounces are not in stock. I could wait but am not sure if it is worth waiting for. Is it similar to anything else? I've read on this site that Vanilla Voodoo (CC) (which I have) is similar to French Vanilla (RE). Is EBB similar to these (or anything else)? Is it worth trying?
  11. I poured Fillmore's Patchouli yesterday and it smelled very good...I hope it works for me!
  12. I'm melting Fillmore's Creamy Chai Latte this week. I love it but get no re-melt with my wax with this one .
  13. I don't like real hazelnut coffee but I really like CS Hazelnut Coffee! I melted a tart yesterday and got good throw and I also remelted the same tart a couple of times and it was still good!
  14. Thank you for the info! I keep looking for ways to streamline my process
  15. Good to know, thank you! Here is another question...I use several different waxes in my tart blend and I'm in the habit of stirring the wax in my Presto Pot several times per batch. Do I need to do that in any melter? Or does the wax "mixture" stay mixed once it is all melted? I would think it stays mixed because it doesn't "separate" if I leave wax in the pot to cool and solidify. Just wondering...
  16. Are you still happy with your water jacket melter, puma52?
  17. Thanks for the suggestions! I will have to try Flaming and Aztec.
  18. Anyone try Fragrance Buddy Georgia Peach? I am about to place an order . I didn't care for CS Peach Nectar or Oregon Trails Peche de Vigne in my wax...I do not have any of the other peaches recommended above :(. I do have Blushing Peaches (ICS) curing.
  19. Timely thread for me...I am testing coffees this month! and am pouring (parasoy) my first ICS samples today ...including Coffee Bean, Vienna Cafe, and Orange Vanilla Coffee. I forgot to order the CS coffee last month to try :(. I hope ICS oils work for me! I got a bunch because I need more bakery ols. Sweet Cakes Cappucchino did not throw in my wax (at 6%). I really liked Oregon Trails Columbian Coffee, it was a rich, smooth coffee scent with a nice throw (8% but I would try it at 9% next time). I've got CS Hazelnut Coffee and Candle Cocoon Pumpkin Coffee curing. They both smelled really good but Pumpkin Coffee doesn't really smell like coffee. JS sounds tempting but I am trying to avoid adding another supplier...except Fragrance Buddy which I will have to try soon.
  20. I just today poured Apples Maple Bourbon in wax (or whatever its called) from CS and the cold scent is very good. It has the "booze" that chuck-35550 is talking about and I think the apple rounds it out for a wax scent. Good luck in your search!
  21. Flaming's Kentucky Bourbon smelled like it had some coconut in it to me...oob was very different and better. ymmv
  22. Yes, thanks for sharing, puma52! I also tried a mix... of 3 parts Macapple to 1 part Whiskey (wax melt) ..very nice and sweet and I can't smell the whiskey, really. Not sure about the ratio. I did not like the Whiskey at all by itself (and does not smell good oob, to me!) but it seems to be a great blender!
  23. ...but there is Flowerbomb, Angel, and Clinique Happy!! (I've not tried these yet...but I really love Flowerbomb....I may have to get some just for myself! (for solid perfume....I just saw Candybee's post ...seems like good advice!)) ...I've splurged on some Sweetcakes expensive stuff for solid perfume, too...worth it for myself so maybe FLowerbomb is in my next order....
