  1. HenryK soy wax may be plant-based - but its not natural in the state we use it to make candles You are absolutely correct. Thanks for letting these soy gals know the truth. Good research.
  2. I had to make a purple and black scented lemon pound cake for someone. I couldn't stand to look at it, they should be the right color.
  3. That's not fugly at all. I have seen some fugly's and that's not one of them.
  4. Hi agent, what is a battenburg chunk?
  5. By all means, I like to see candles that burn properly.
  6. Very nice display. Mine are thrown all over the basement, LOL
  7. Very nice! You sure are creative.
  8. Dat is right, good advice. Most customers probably wouldn't even notice, LOL But since we want to be satisfied with our work, I would use 2 wicks also.
  9. You can melt wax, add dye and FO in the presto and pour into your pour pot straight into the mold. To clean to presto, simply wipe with paper towel. I try to eliminate as many steps as possible to be more productive and save time. IMO
  10. OMG, candle making 101, you need to start over and find somewhere else to make candles. The prestos are only $20.00
  11. Could be the wattage isn't high enough on your burner. I have found they work best at 21 watts
  12. If you order them, be careful to always buy them at the same place. For some odd reason, the sizes are different from the different suppliers. I get mine from BCN.
  13. BCN can be hit or miss, spiced cranberry is fantastic, pie crust, strawberry jam, caramel apple, blueberry muffins, deep fried ice cream, all very good. I don't order from any of the others too much.
  14. Beautiful colors E, cut that darn wick, would you? LOL
  15. I have made them, people don't burn them, they use them for decoration
  16. No it doesn't. You can put container wax in those also, and burn right in it.
