  1. blah blah blah...note to self "think before you type". :embarasse:tiptoe:
  2. I'll be there! It's going to be great. The speakers/demos sound terrific!
  3. I agree with candleessence. The hot & cold throw is amazing. I back down on my FO amounts with palm.
  4. What a bummer. I suspected I wasn't the only one having problems. Darn me and my impulse buying!!
  5. Okay, you guys made me order these darn dyes. lol Have a question though...I ordered two of the kits on the 12th and other than the initial email containing my sales invoice I have heard nothing. Is this normal? It's always been a peeve of mine when suppliers don't communicate. I'm not talking about a phone call...a simple email notification will do. If this is typical (as I suspect it may be) I cannot imagine incorporating their products into my line. Reliability, communication and promptness are important to me. Anyone else feel this way?
  6. Lovely Donita! I need to quit looking at your pics. I have enough to do already without taking on new projects. lol
  7. That's terrific! Names that come to mind: fiesta, pinata and confetti.
  8. It sure is! You can also find it in the Kosher section of the grocery store under "sour salt". It's a very expensive way to buy citric acid though.
  9. You need to email the owner. I find it hard to believe that Doneen or Rich wouldn't try to make things right. If you want Doneen's company email addy, send me a PM.
  10. Agree completely. In my experience it is rare to not see air pockets in palm votives. If you don't poke relief holes you will find that your candle "craters" when burned.
  11. Robin, this is my biggest Achilles heel. I battle the fear of success along with being a perfectionist on a daily basis. It can be really tough to deal with sometimes.
  12. Hey Landa. I have the Brambleberry 18 bar slab mold. The volume of that mold is 117 fl oz. Most of what I consider to be decent/long lasting slab molds are rather pricey. My experience with both Upland and BB slabs have convinced me that sometimes you do indeed get what you pay for. They are both great molds.
  13. If you are not adverse to the idea, a smidgen of beeswax (3%) will stop the frosting.
  14. Nice, but a big fader in CP.
  15. What are you talking about...it's terrific!
  16. They turned out wonderful! Very nicely put together.
  17. I think it looks fabulous!! I have a few teens around here that would love it!
  18. Not to take away from this board, but if you go to "The Scent Review Board" and scroll down to the bottom, there is a review section for flavor oils.
