Man, I just tried out a new supplier for silicone molds. I ordered them last Saturday and they came Thursday already!!! They are so awesome Best yet is she is a CT member. I hope she don't mind me telling everyone. But right off the bat, the customer service was great. I had alot of questions for her and she never got tired of answering me. She was very helpful and is even trying to find a cool item for me that I have been looking for in a mold. Well Even being sicker than a dog, I just Had to pour these molds. The wax just came out of them so perfect and I didn't even have to slit the sides. Oh and her prices are super great. And she doesn't rob you on shipping either. Yup, I am always getting told how I smell When I pour my buck lure candles I smell for days. It actually gets into my skin and really hangs on the hair. I always take bunches of showers per day to get that smell off of me. That scent is so wicked that I have to make those candles outside. And just the other day I got some lovespell on my jammies. I washed them in hot water and they still smell of lovespell. So I guess it's safe to say, we are stinky candlemakers... :laugh2:

Oh Man that was sheer torture looking at those. My mouth is watering bad now. They are fantastic ..... I need to hold back from baking some..... Oh dear Lord give me the strength. I just gained 5 lbs looking at them.

I am betting maybe they are the smelly jelly crystals. Can't stake my life on it. But I bet they would squeeze through a bottle just fine. I know they squeezed out of my neck wrap I made last year and they were small holes.

Alot of people use a meatballer And alot use the clear plastic Christmas ball ornaments that come apart. I love using them. Much easier for me...

My friend just started making CP soap. Well she is having an awful time. I told her I would ask the experts. This is her problem exactly as she emailed me it. I add the fo to the oils and then add coloring. It looks like the color I added but then when I add the lye water mix to it and use the stick blender, it changes colors. Does anyone have any ideas I can pass on to her? Thanks a bunch

Lil Lady how can you say you suck at soaps? I don't ever wanna hear that again. There is nothing wrong with those soaps. I think they all look great. You need a tester?

I have 3 testers. My mom, son & daughter My mom does my jars, My son does my pillars My daughter does things she does not make. I only trust them because they know exactly what to look for. Plus they are as picky as I am. I won't give anyone else a cnadle to test out for me. But I will give candles away that I already tested so I can get an outsiders opinions on scents to see if it's a keeper or not.

I used to be a huge Yankee Fan My fav was the blueberry Well that was until I started doing my own. I have been told many times over by my customers that mine are way better. I agree now. lol I love my blueberry alot more than theirs now.

Oh Don't be so hard on yourself. Your not an idiot. There is tons of great info on here for you. Just do searches and you will come up with alot. Making a great candles does not happen over night. We all had to start at the beginning too. Good luck.

Your biggest problem for scent loss is an easy fix. Your addiing your scent to late. Add your scent and dye as soon as your wax is melted. Adding it at the temp you are now is not letting it incorporate enough. I wouldn't wait that long to pour the tarts either. If you are pouring into metal tart cups you can pour them right away. Now if it is something that can melt from high heat, then you can wait until the was temp is down to say maybe 150...HTH

No such thing as a triple scented candle. It is a marketing ploy. You are messing with disaster using 2oz of oil per lb. If you have a good quality scent you should not need more than an 1oz tops.

Daria, I make these all the time. Make sure you zap you rmold with the heat gun right before you pour. Don't cool your wax down at all. Pour it good and hot. I have forgot and let the wax cool off to much and got those same results. HTH

I had that problem also. What I did was put 0.00 in the value for the certificate and it let me put it in cart then.... I got my order in early

I had that happen too. My son fixed mine with "SpeedyBond" It is an epoxy putty for metal. It has held up really good. You just have to make sure your mold is really clean before doing it.
