Trying to answer all these questions for you. Being a noobie myself I really dont know but can tell you from what i have read, and read and re-read! @ asher "Do you have a general rule for when you pour the second layer? " I generally just feel the votive and when it is coolish to the touch, not cold, not hot, just right, i start on the second layer. I always make sure to pour the second layer at a higher temp than the first just to make sure it sticks, i have had some that didnt and figured this is the reason why. All and all, i think your votives look really pretty! @michi Hey girl I can send u a sniffy of the two scents together if u want a sniffual! @ed1 the wax i used was IGI 4786 (containers) that i added a bit of mold release to get them outta the votive cups HTH Cara
