  1. Here are some pillars I'm sending to my daughter. They were supposed to be a burnt orange, but they don't really look like that. They are scented orange clove. Jojo inspired me to put the beads on them. Thanks for looking
  2. I'm trying to wick a small square taper container with an opening of 3" x 3". I'm using Comfort Blend. I first tried 51-32-18 z and didn't get a complete melt pool so I wicked up to 60-44-18 z and it was a little better but still not a complete melt pool. Should I try another zinc or is there another wick that you can recommend? TIA

  8. Hi Sabrina - This wick may work, but it depends on what wax you are using and what FO. Here is what it says about this wick on Peak's. See below - it says to use for a 2.5" - 3" diameter candle. I would try it and see what you think. LX wicks have a unique flat braid that minimizes carbon buildup. These wicks have a round tin base (20 mm) with a 6 mm neck attached, which helps keep the entire wick assembly standing upright and prevents it from flopping over as the candle burns down to the end. • A coreless wick to reduce carbon buildup. • Manufactured with stabilizing threads which make for a more consistent burn and reduces carbon buildup. • Primed with high melt wax (212F), which aids in keeping them straight in the molten wax. • 6 inches long. Use for 2.5" - 3" diameter candles. • May need to wick up for soy or other veggie waxes. • Size recommendations are a guide only as wick sizes may differ as your own needs/recipes differ.

  17. Can anyone tell me the equivalent wick for 60-44-18 Z to HTP? I think it is either HTP 1212 or HTP 1312 (which should I try first?). Also, which burns hotter the zinc or HTP? TIA
  18. I ordered the free sample on Jan 22 (actually earlier as I sent an e-mail that Brenda never received). Anyway, on the Jan 22 e-mail she says it will go out on Thursday (Jan 26). It is now March 14 and still I don't have my sample. I e-mailed her today and she said it will go out in the next shipment. I'm not holding my breath. I really was hoping to try this wax, oh well.
