    Okay I will when I get home from work. I have two other fluted molds that aren't heart shaped and they come out of the mold. I think maybe because this mold is new and heart shaped???? What do you think?

    Just Scents has Orange Clove which is nice OOB. I haven't put it in wax yet. When using Orange Clove, would I have to make the candle orange? I don't like orange and yellows very well.

    Does anyone have any ideas of how to get a candle out of my fluted heart-shaped mold. It is new. The wax is paraffin and I'm adding Vybar 103. I used kemamide and mold relase spray. This is my third candle. My first candle I was finally able to get out with a lot of pulling. The 2nd one got completely stuck so I melted it down and redid it. I also tried putting it in the refridgerator and the freezer and nothing helped with the 2nd one. Any ideas? It is such a pretty mold.

    Has anyone tried IGI 1260 for hurricanes? The new supplier I'm using says this is what they recommend. They don't carry the 5055.

    Is there a rule of thumb for how many drops of liquid dye per pound of wax? I know this has been discussed, but when I do a search I can't find it. I usually used the chips but I've run out and the only red I have is liquid. TIA

    I have a question. It is okay to keep wax heated for a couple of hours with the FO or color added yet? I'm referring to paraffin. I think it will make things go a little faster for me if this is the case.

    Thanks Donita. I'm wondering if there is somewhere close to California where I can get the 5055? I'm bummed cuz I found a new supplier for wax, but they don't carry this one. I already use the powered mold release so that is good.

    I filled out the paperwork for my DBA today. In Calif. it is $23.00. Everyhing is more here . I'm so excited though. I make a large heart chuck today that didn't turn out like I wanted it to, the chucks were with hearts in them and you couldn't tell that but it still looked neat. Anyway my neighbor wants two of them at 35.00 a piece. I'm so jazzed. Thanks for your help.

    I think Candles and Supplies website must be down. Can you look at it again later? Unless you know what this is, they have a tray that hold 8 molds (for 2", 3" or 4" molds). It looks so neat and I'm wondering if anyone has bought these?
