  1. You would not believe how glad I am to hear you "say" that!! I never have had any begin to melt in my kitchen either. If you don't mind my asking...what% FO do you use?? I use up to 8-9% depending on the fragrance and I've not had any seep so far, but I haven't been out in the heat either. I am sooo glad that there really are others who love this wax. I think you just have to find a good combo. of wax, FO, wick, etc. :highfive:
  2. Yes, I can probably get a space with electricity. I hope that will be enough. I think I am going to go for it. At least I'll know next time if they seep too bad. I just don't understand why more people don't use this wax. I love it!! Some scents don't have a knock-you-down hot throw, but there are plenty that do! And it makes such a gorgeous candle with less fuss--except for the low melt point. I am happy to meet a couple of people who actually are with me on Advanced!! Thanks for the reply!
  3. Never considered that. I think I will post a sign that I will gladly hold items until departure, but will not be responsible for melted candles after being out in the heat after purchase.
  4. I was afraid of that. Wonder what I'm going to do if I get set up and then the whole bunch starts seeping!!!! That would be catastrophic!!!! Wonder if anyone has any ideas on how I could deal with this?? Maybe only display a few and keep the others cooler somehow?
  5. I have always done indoor craft shows, but am thinking of doing an outdoor one first of next month. Temps. may reach 80+*. I use 8% FO in lidded apothecaries. Of course, I will be under a canopy, but am wondering what kind of seepage I can expect at these temps and if I should rethink this show. Anyone have an idea? I know that there are not many Advances lovers out there....but any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
  6. I took off the flash...it annoyed me too!
  7. thanks for the feedback....I was worried about the flash, but my husband liked it....anyway, I just removed it. And I did remove the blemish stuff. I saw on another website that they had included that info. and thought maybe I should too, but you're right, it does sound bad sort-of
  8. Guess you're right---I really was thinking more of the wax and additives. Guess I better make some changes.
  9. DUH!!! How dumb was that??? I'm really not that stupid....really http://www.shadygrovedesigns.net
  10. Thanks for sharing all the information. I really appreciate it!!
  11. Thanks Gerri---how would you go about sealing a label like that? We do sell shower gels and I wouldn't want the label to run. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
  12. thanks for the response! Right now I am using ink jet labels and ordering them already printed. They look great, but I really like the look of the clear labels. Just didn't really know if I had to use a laser printer. Assumed I couldn't use an ink jet.
  13. OK---can someone tell me what equipment I need to print on a clear labe? Can I only use a laser printer??? I know---probably a dumb question---and it's ok to laugh at me!!
  14. Thanks for the info! I have actually had a candle freeze and crack when left in someone's cold car, they returned it to me and by the time they returned it to me it had warmed enough for the crack to completely disappear! It was the weirdest thing. The person that returned the candle thought she was completely crazy! You couldn't even see where the crack had been!!
