    I haven't heard of adding borax to soap. I have heard of people adding to bombs. But yes, like Carrie stated above, it's the 20 Mule Team Borax on the laundry aisle at the grocery.

    What kind of soap molds. There are the slabs (Misty Creek, Upland and Kelsei), logs (Kelsei, Mr. Do Right and the wooden ones), tray molds (milky way, etc). It just depends on what your looking for and what type of process your interested in doing (ex: HP, CP, CPOP or M&P).

    Awesome job. Everything navigates easily, the pics are great and information thorough. I did notice a couple of things on the "Return" page. The second sentence reads "We confident". Shouldn't it be We are conifident. Also, a sentence or 2 later, the tense changes to past regarding their satisfaction. It reads "If that wasn't the case" and it should be present tense reading If that isn't the case. I'm not nit picking or a grammatic freak, just wanted you to know. I think hubby did an outstanding job. Congratulations!!!

    LOL, loved the entrance!!!!! Girl, you'd sell a ton of those at Halloween. We have a store here in the mall called Spencers and i bet you could present that to them and they'd be jumping all over it and you!!!!!

    Well, I think if we add anything other than FO to a premade base it affects the balance of the formula and the effectiveness of the preservative. So, that maybe why you had the "gooey" mess and/or dryness. I'm definitely no expert on it but that would certainly make sense.

    Well now I'm a little hesitant to try the Crothix after reading Luci's reply. I've heard that the base from Essentials by Catalina was pretty good but haven't tried that one yet.
