  1. That is so cool! I have YET to try this. I know I know, what am I waiting for. I've been very lazy in making things and really have to kick my butt into gear
  2. Well my hubby "tried" to make me one, but couldn't make the wooden dowel for the inside. He said "Just buy the damn thing" which I haven't done yet. He was trying to make a plunger type thingie.
  3. Jenny got any of the clear bullet bottles with black disc tops? I need some of those
  4. There's no difference between CP & CPOP except you're putting the CP into the oven, thus the OP part. Also, all you're doing with the OP part is ensuring gel. You still need to wait for the full cure time (4-6weeks) to get a good bar of soap both with CP and CPOP I agree it's the FO
  5. Me neither! I'm going to stick with canned coconut milk because that's what I've been using with success
  6. Mine is in a green/white box. It's kind of smaller, maybe 8" wide by 4" tall and was something like $3.
  7. Yup, I agree. Probably one of those plastic ornaments
  8. Using 100% canned coconut milk really freaked me out though! I won't do that again, but I do use 50% coconut milk 50% water and I pretty much have the same results. So Moo, which one was yours? Mine was #4
  9. Look for borax with the dry soap detergent like Tide. I've seen it at all of the grocery stores, wal mart, even Target.
  10. Yup, that's what I was going to say too. Bubble wrap
  11. Waaaaaaaaaaa I so want to do this
  12. LaVida, thank you for that. I'm dying to try some (Hibiscus and I have been PMing about this) but I just can't find the time or energy! I don't have the preservtive or PH strips yet either
  13. Don't they have a kitchen store in the Beaver Valley Mall or some place like that? I grew up in Beaver Falls. Kangaroo Blue has them too
  14. Yup Fractionated Coconut OilCaprylic/Capric Triglyceride
  15. On another board we did a swap where each of us did a different kind of milk as all of the liquid. Some used powdered, some canned, some fresh. We all used the same recipe and there was even a control bar where water was used. The results were that no one could tell a difference! Some colored slightly, some were pure white but those were the noticable differences. It didn't matter what kind of milk was used, they all produced creamy lather. I just thought you'd all like to know the results of this!
  16. Yup me too and that's the way I line mine as well.
  17. Thanks Brenda. I usually work with my master batch of oils though so doing the subsequent layers might be tricky. Maybe have a drink while they are setting up huh?
  18. Mango Lassi from Scent Works. It's actually a nice pale peach that the camera didn't show. I've got some extra
