  1. I would suggest just using a box until you decide if you like making soap and what kind/size you want. Then either make your own molds (very easy to do) or buy them. Use freezer paper, shiny side out. What you need to do is once you find a box measure the inside, w x l x height you want. Multiply that x.04 to get the amount of OILS that you will need (not oils and lye together). Then run that thru a lye calculator so you will know how much lye and water to use. Have you read the miller site yet? I read and researched for about 6 months before making my first CP
  2. I just use my personal account, I don't have a business account.
  3. I've seen where a few people take credit cards at their shows. Could you post who you use, the pro/con's of them as well? I've got some fall shows coming up and 2 are in a very upscale neighborhood and I'm sure I could get better sales if I offered this. I've looked at Propay and Paypal, considering Propay since I don't want to have this going for very long (maybe until the end of the year). Thank you
  4. Are you doing M&P? If so, you can freeze it for a few minutes and it should pop out. If you're doing CP then you need to line the box with freezer paper
  5. I've got a spreadsheet that I use. I add up all of the ingredients including labels and containers and figure out my cost (remember to include shipping) for each item. Then I usually multiply that x 4
