  1. I can imagine mine squeezing the tube like toothpaste all over the place =D Definitely a lot messier. I wouldn't like having an expiration on items either.
  2. Scentsy reps are so vicious and cult like :/ That turns me off from Scentsy majorly.
  3. No I know they aren't resellers I meant companies like NG are so I was wondering if the scents are the same.
  4. They are one of my fav vendors in delivery and presentation. I do like some of their scents very much. I just wish they replied back to emails quicker. I emailed them twice about a very weak scent Birds of Paradise and once they replied it was not very helpful. They have a bunch of different emails to email on their site and it would be nice if they just had one customer service email. For BoP I've since moved on to another vendor and maybe I'll use theirs as a mixer.
  5. I just mix Zucchini bread+vanilla. Easy enough to do to add more of a creaminess to it I don't like zucchini bread plain since it just smells funny and sharp.
  6. I've tried NG, Peaks, CS, CC, RE lilacs. I think it is hard to get a bad lilac. They all smell realistic to me. I think Peak, CS, and CC though are the strongest lilacs.
  7. I haven't ordered too many times from Peak, probably twice but I think they have excellent packaging especially with their glass FO bottles and great quality. Super fast shipping. That seems more like an issue to be upset at UPS about and seems out of their control and that isn't their norm.
  8. Anyone have any experience with them? I am awaiting an order from them currently, but have never tried them before. They are supposed to be manufacturers of scents and it looks like a lot of scents are one's that NG carries as well. I wonder if it is the same concentration since NG is a lot less expensive, but I do notice many NG scents are hit or miss or you need to use more FO even though they indicate theirs are concentrated and you only need .5 to 1 oz per lb. Not sure if there is even any place that doesn't say their FOs are 100% concentrated so not even sure what sellers mean by that. I ordered scents that NG didn't carry from Indigo. Wasn't sure if there was any advantage from ordering directly from Indigo as the other resellers sell the scents cheaper.
  9. I use half paraffin and half gb. Great hot and cold throw and looks nice. I didn't have issues with looks with just GB when I poured it, just after burning it and adding paraffin gave me the best of both.
  10. I've found the IGI 6006 has great throw. I've been testing out a lot of different waxes out by itself and mixed. The waxes I have are GB 464, Eco CBA, IGI 6006, IGI 4630, Eco PB to test with. I grew tired of using all soy and the issues associated with it and quite honestly soy and paraffin are on equal grounds with me and they both have their pros and cons and mixing seems to produce the best results for me. These are for container candles, mason and jelly jars approx 3 inch in diameter. I have been using HTP 105 and was going to order CD wicks to try. I've tried LX and didn't like it and eco was ok. HTP seems to be working the best so far. Does anyone have experience/tips using this wax and mixing? So far I've tried the 6006 and adding a bit of GB 464 and that seems to work good. May need to test more times though to make a decision with different scents though. Too late to think straight and dislike math but I did a percentage of 3/4 6006 and 1/4 of GB 464. Not sure how much soy that is Thanks for any advice you can give
  11. Yeah the shape is throwing me off I wanted it to burn evenly towards the points of the stars so one wick is too small. I think 2 larger wicks would work. Maybe even 3 smaller wicks in the middle. I think even doing 5 small wicks might not burn evenly because of how large the candle is shaped so I think the wicks would burn down before wax did. Guess it is going to be an experiment
  12. I was wondering what you guys would use for wicks for a star bowl. Here is link : http://retail.libbey.com/Products/Home-Decor/6-Star-Bowl I was thinking it probably needs double wick, 3 wicks might be too much. Not sure where to start though since usually I only use 1 wick but I saw these bowls for real cheap. I'll probably use all soy or parasoy. Thanks
