Some of the scents are very good. A lot are also very weak regardless of the description saying super strong, etc. don't pay attention to that lol Wish the samples were less expensive as well as $3-$4 for the quality of the FO is too much. I had some FOs crystallize that did not come out in boiling water baths and did not come out even in making the wax. She has really bad customer service and basically says you are lying even with pictures and no one else has that problem when I know quite a few others who have had the same exact problems who have contacted her.

Strawberry fields is more green.

Anyone tried both and have a preference to both marshmallows from JS? I've tried both, but can't remember which sample I liked better from testing. I like the DS, but I have more scents I need to order from JS and only want to order from one company now because of shipping.

I did get the BW today. Unfortunately, it was more on the minty side. Was looking for more of an herbal scent similar to NG but stronger. I think I'll hit up JS in the future since they have 2 types of Rosemary Mint.

Oh sheesh I meant 4794 It is a hard slab. What happens when you try researching at night.

Currently I use a parasoy blend and the paraffin component is 4627. On CS both IGIs look the same in threshold of 6% FO and the only difference I see is 4625 has a higher melting point. I had picked the lower MP because I figured it would melt wax quicker and give off scent quicker, but now I am wondering if it would be worthwhile to test 4625 after reading around? I think that is one of the few waxes I haven't tried yet since I thought it was too similar to 4627 that I use.

Interesting. I made this myself before out of curiosity, but haven't melted any yet. Still stored in the jar and did send a bit to testers that I was sending regular wax to test anyway. I was thinking though, the FO isn't really bonding to the wax to give it the throw which is why you add the FO at a certain temp. It is really just coating and soaking in the wax a little.

The $5 for an oz from Sweet Cakes makes me I have been meaning to try BW for awhile though...

Ok thanks I've never tried them before but will give them a try soon. Saw in search the shortbread cookie is good too. Need to think of other things to try to make shipping worthwhile =Dq

I tried NG's Rosemary Mint. It is nice and sweet, but not quite strong enough. I was thinking of trying BW or JS. JS has 2 different Rosemary Mint's. Not sure the difference. Any thoughts? I think this scent would be nice for spring

I love 7 up lb cake. Sells great for me too! Could probably make samples of ones that don't sell to give as samples with orders.

Oh yeah now I remember Vickey! She was very helpful about the product and seemed truly enthusiastic about what she was doing. I remember her posting often and just being very helpful with her knowledge. Now when I email I don't get a reply or I get an unhelpful reply so I don't bother e-mailing them anymore. I don't recommend their liquid colors. One of them is supposed to be pink and it is a red with only one little drop and their blueberry is the palest sky blue even at about 6 drops and this is in parasoy. I don't have issues with liquid color from other suppliers. Also don't recommend their clam shells since some have pin holes that leak wax all over, but now I buy in bulk anyway.

There was some change in CS of RE? I remember vaguely it was another woman who was very helpful, but ever since the change, their CS severely lacks. They are good as long as you don't have questions or have issues with your order. Quality I haven't noticed changing although I noticed a few FO sample bottles going rancid very quick (meaning maybe 2-3 out of many I've tried which I guess isn't too bad).

Trying to find a good butterscotch like those candies. I've tried different variations like RE sweet buttered rum, CS hot buttered rum (smells like alcohol and not what I want), Aztec butterscotch brule, etc. but none are a sweet, can tell it is butterscotch scents. Any suggestions

Super strong. Less is definitely more. I use less than an oz on all her scents in parasoy. Can't judge OOB what it smells like in wax because of the concentration.

Agree with CS for a strong cinnamon bun. Some people don't like spice though, so JS frosted cinnamon bun for one with less punch.

For a straight up tree scent, I like blue spruce from cs.

AH Marshmallow & Pink Sugar. Don't recommend NG for either of those scents. Super weak and can definitely tell a difference.

Does anyone know what the recycle code of plastic clamshells are? I am trying to find a good clamshell that doesn't suck out the scent.
