I called as soon as I read this post! They told me that when they designed this policy 20 years ago it was for doing craft shows and home parties. She explained that this was before the internet and people were selling wholesale. It doesn't make much sense to me, but that was the explanation that I got.

This is such a tough jar to find...I have been looking for a long time. I would prefer it without a bail top and a glass press lid.... but the one from specialty bottle is not that similar to the one she is looking for.

You only need to collect sales tax in your home state, and unfortunately I believe Prestopotwaxmelter is correct on collecting sales tax on shipping. Shipping is considered income because you are collecting the money and you then deduct it as an expense.

Great job, that is definitely a confidence booster!

I used Publisher to do my first website, it got the job done, but it didn't work too well. I would suggest starting with another program before you have most of your site designed and have to start over because of its limitations. Most people will tell you the same thing. It doesn't have all of the features that programs that are strictly dedicated to web creation. I am currently using an Art Explosion Publisher Pro program I picked up at Sam's Club and it is alot easier to use. I know that it is not the best program either, but it is better than Publisher. I have heard others talk about Dreamweaver, but I have not used that one.

I definitely pour ahead. That way I can fill most orders very quickly...time is money. My wife and I also have full time jobs and it is the only way I can stay ahead and maintain my sanity!!

Honeywell did send samples, but they just referred you to their distributors and then they wanted you to pay shipping. As we all know IGI bought Honeywell so I don't know where that stands...I would bet they still do.

How much more is it? I use J-50, but that sounds interesting, not to mention my supplier just raised J-50 up 8 bucks a case!

I have the rustic lids....how many do you need?

I can't find their fragrance list! All I can find is their Holiday Clearance fragrances. Everytime I click on fragrances A-L i get a picture of a bath and body container! Hope they get it fixed soon.

Please provide us with your business license or sales tax license to qualitfy for wholesale pricing. If you are tax-exempt you will need to contact us to get our tax-exempt form otherwise, we are required to charge you sales tax. Some restrictions may apply.

You will need to obtain a sales tax id if you are going to do shows/craft fairs, etc. Most of the reputable ones already require that on their applications and wont let you participate without one.

This is a tricky area. Doesn't your home owners cover you in case of a fire?

My advice is to try to find a supplier close to you and see if you can pick them up....try to save every penny! Shipping is a killer....I drive 1 1/2 hours one way to pick up a 6 months supply of glassware and wax. Costs me 30 bucks in gas vs a few hundred in freight.

We are thinking of trying an open house this Spring as well. We have been compiling a mailing list from all the checks we have been receiving and we will invite our past customers that way.
