  1. Right now I use a concentrated dye from French that I buy from Early American Candle in PA for $32 for 8 oz. I really like this dye but I noticed candlescience is a bit cheaper with a 4 oz bottle for 12.95.
  2. Festivalnet.com also has alot of shows that craftlister.com does not have. Also don't be afraid to try the larger shows (you sometimes get what you pay for!!), but your best bet is to talk to other crafters at shows...that is my best source for show info and help limit the number of slow shows.
  3. I use an HTP 104 wick...I have had some sink holes, but just pour at a lower temp and that seems to do the trick
  4. Has anyone used the liquid dye from candlescience.com. I was considering giving them a try, but I wondering what everyone thought about them.
  5. Your labels are great!! Where do you get the clear laser labels?
  6. Sounds very risky to me. Three days and only 9000 people on Black Friday weekend. I bet you can find another show that weekend and do better because the do not hit you twice for commisions!!! I guess they are asking you to work 2 hours a day for them...I have never heard of that.
  7. Tess has the right idea...start with what fragrance oils you already have and then add some based on suggestions from your customers. Get really good at what you do and stay focused and start small. Then you can expand and add different items with time. It is so easy to try to do alot of different types of candles right off and not put out a really good, consistent product. Listening to what your customer wants is the best way to determine what you will be adding to your product line!!!
