classiccandle
Does anyone name their candles/melts/tarts based on the season? By that I mean do you name a fragrance one thing during the fall/winter and then rename it to something else for spring/summer and then back to the fall/winter name again? If so do the customers question it? I've seen several posts where people have stated that they couldn't move a certain fragrance but when they renamed it they couldn't keep it in stock, hence my question.Thank you! Candybee
Depends. I have a couple of Christmas scents I use year round that I rename after the holidays are over. If candle doesn't sell, I do try changing the name and lots of times that works but sometimes it may be that a particular scent won't sell no matter what I do with it. Case in point; Peaks Cornucopia. I adore this fall scent but can't give it away. Oh well, more for me!!
ksranch
I do too - Cracklin Birch I sell year round - usually called Woodland Trails, but during xmas season I call it Sleigh Ride. My regulars don't notice for the most part, they just keep buying it! Edited October 12, 2012 by ksranch

Lorelei
The Cornucopia won't sell here because of the name. I rename it to Farmer's Market and it goes like crazy!
