Very Vanilla - Candle Science

Have read many great reviews on this scent from CS, and on their site, I've also read quite a few that seem to center around the fact that at one time, the scent throw was varying from lot to lot. Sometimes it was great, sometimes not so much.

All I can say is this. I have a lb bottle I've had for about six months and finally got around to pouring it up and using it as a CT scent for one of the tps and one of the paper towels I just did for an order.

I guess I got one of the " good " batches cause this stuff is absolutely beyond amazing and I hate vanilla !

To me, this is a very deep vanilla with almost a butter and nut notes in it but I absolutely adore it ! It has literally without question, totally overrode the Lavender , Cinnamon, Pink Sugar and Hot Fudge Brownie tps and pts I had done up and I know every single one of them have a kick butt CT but this Very Vanilla just buried them !

If yall haven't tried it, take it from a very NON vanilla fan ( like, I hate the stuff )... TRY THIS !

Its not the throw that bothers me. Its the off scent. It has a sour note in it that throws it off enough to ruin any candle I put it in. I even tried mixing this. Again, everything I tried blending it with still came out with that sour note. Its hard to describe but its there, a sour chemical note that comes out when you put it in wax. I can even smell it OOB.

I have long switched to the Vanilla Lace and love it. Much better vanilla. Also, their French Vanilla is a true french vanilla scent. Either also make great mixers.

I'm glad its working for your with your application. For me it just stinks!

I know there's some controversy on this scent but I have to say that it is my favorite vanilla ever. Whenever I want to burn a candle for my own enjoyment, this is the one I burn. I'm a vanilla fan, though. I use C3 and I use it not only in candles but in some wax items I make which rely on cold throw only and it is extremely strong for that application. The only thing I don't like to use it for is OOB like pot pourri or sachets. I think it has an alcohol smell to it OOB. I've used it for about 3 or 4 years, I think and I've never had a bad batch but I do buy it in 5 pound containers so maybe that helps, IDK. I love the creaminess of it.
