pixie
Can someone recommend a starting point for wicking a 16oz salsa jar? It will be for soy gb415. Can these jars be single wicked? The width is 3.4 inches.
Stella1952
I single wick 4" containers, so I don't know why you couldn't...Try a CDN 18, 20, 22 Edited September 25, 2011 by Stella1952
Trappeur
That's my main jar I use all the time. I use 1 htp #1212 wick and in some very light scents can get away with 1 #126 wick. But I use c-3 wax. Don't know if that helps though.Trappeur

I was using 16 oz small mouth mason jars. I don't remember the width of the main part of that jar. I've always wicked for the lower part and a 14 was good. The opening was like 2-3/8 or something along those lines. Edited September 25, 2011 by jeanie353

rjdaines
I use a CD18 with 464, can look a little messy for a while but it catches up and finishes fairly clean.
chuck_35550
CD18 for me too in the 12 oz salsa. The 16 oz jars take a 16 in my 70/30 blend (soy/paraffin).
