Sharon in KY
Has anyone wondered what this stuff is? I bought a lb. from BCN and it worked pretty good but I just don't use it all the time. It was sitting on my Micro Wave for quite sometime. When I went to get some, the powder fused together. So today I decided to melt it and pour into a silicone mold with small embeds. Well this stuff is kinda weird, took a long time to melt in the micro, would have had to cut out of the container it was so darn hard. Color is kind of amber and syrupy, So I poured and it's taking forever to cool, been 30 minutes and it's still liquid. Stuck some on my finger, isn't oily or sticky at all can even rub into skin, taste really awful. Sound like anything you have ever seen?:rolleyes2No smell either.. JanetsCandles
I use it in my candles, but get it from Peak. I use it in all my colors now. Have to with the sun being so... intense I guess is the word, at least here in New Mexico. The powder I have is a yellowish color, does fuse under heat and moist conditions. I'm not sure either what it's made of. My fiancee said it looks and feels in texture a lot like the stuff they use in plastics manufacturing, still for UV stabilization. Neither of us know anything else about it. But I'm curious too.
Sharon in KY
It might be some kind of plastic. Still not set up after 1 hour and 35 minutes.

debratant
Well Sharon, I won't try to taste it now that you have done so LOL. I was wondering what it is too. There is never a description of ingredients of it anywhere. I just ordered 3 oz of it from NG and I love their packaging in a jar much more than candle sciences "bag".
