Clamshell Tarts

What wax do YOU use in your clamshells for tarts? And do they pop out easily?

I use 50% J223 50% OK 6628 pops right out

I use IGI 4784 (I think that was the votive blend) excellent scent throw and pops right out

Another 6228 (70%) J223 (30%) user. They pop out just fine.

EZ Soy + 2.5% beeswax, they also pop right out!

I've used:

J50

J223

A mix of the above two waxes

4761 - perfect for clamshells and tarts

4794

6228 - shrinks too much on it's own. Add some container wax to help that.

J50 and 6228 - good combo

I really prefer 4761 though for tarts and clamshells. It looks great, pops out easily and has a great throw.

I use IGI 4794. They pop right out.

I actually use my container wax. They look beautiful, pop right out, and have awesome throw. I use a wax that is 98% soy, btw.

I use 80% soy container wax and 20%votive soy wax and they pop right out. The customers love them!

Normally I use a mix of J50 and OK6228. Right now I'm trying to finish off about 12 lbs of Comfort Blend, so I'm using it instead. It has an AWESOME scent throw. I'm seriously happy with this blend. Of course, once I run out I'll go back to my J50.

I use astorlite v has an aswome scent throw and pops right out.
