Guest PassionSunKiss
Is weighing paper really necessary to use on a scale or will plain ol' wax paper work? I thought about just reaching into my kitchen drawer and using the wax paper I've got but then I didn't know if it needed to be a sanitized. I've read so much about everyone sanitizing things I didn't know how far to take it lol
TheWickedWick
I use plain old wax paper...it protects the surface of the scale from drips and other stuff. Never thought about it needing to be sanitized it's just a clean piece from the roll. Not sure what others use. The only thing I put directly on the paper is my cut up m&p soap. Everthing else is in a sanitized container like oils, butters, fos, etc. to be weighed.Maybe someone else will weigh in with more info.Karen
Kitn
I keep my scale in a large zip lock bag , I wipe the bag down with bleach water, like I do my soap making table etc , each day when I am done in my soap room.

Misty
The waxed paper is sanitary enough for you to wrap your sandwich in, so I would think it is fine to weigh with.
