Question for 415 users

I have read on here that some use 415 for tarts. I have started experimenting using 415 for clamshell tarts and was wondering if anyone has any tips using this wax.

I know it is not a tart wax, but was wondering if I could use some USA and/or CO to get more of a tart wax. TIA

When I use 415 for clamshells, I add some 4794 votive paraffin which adds the hardness you're looking for. I really like using para-soy for clamshells. If you don't want to go with the paraffin, try blending with the Eco-soya PB. That is a soy pillar wax.

I agree. Try mixing it with 4794 and I think you will be very pleased.
