bah67
I have been playing around with labels from labelsbythesheet.com. I really like them but I am having trouble with their templates not aligning properly. I have used MS Work and Photoshop for years and have done a lot of printing using various templates and have never had a problem getting them perfect, but for the life of me I cannot get my graphics to be centered or aligned:confused:. They are either too far to the left, or after adjusting the spacing and margins they run onto the next label.I am really at a loss here, does anyone have any advise as to how to get their templates to align? TIA
momtohaley2004
I had that problem once and I notified them. They sent me out new labels because they said sometimes (rarely) the roll will shift when cut and a slight difference will appear with the label. I had the problem of when I printed they would print too far over or too far down and I had never had that problem with their labels before. I also found they were too wide for my printer and I'd never experienced that before. I had to trim the edge to get them to fit my printer. Anyway, I notified them of the issue and they were very polite. They sent new labels and the issue was resolved.
bah67
Thanks for the input, I did notice that the sheets are not quite 8.5" wide so that might be my problem. I will notify them and see what they say.
LuminousBoutique
I've been struggling with this with some 2.5" round labels I bought off the classies on here... they cant do anything because even though thats where they are from, I am not the one who bought them from them.So basically, I have 50 sheets of 2.5" labels I cant use. I'm beyond pissed.
aviator girl
I have lables from there and they have all been hard to align and the templates don't exactly line up. I think round labels are extremely hard to line up too.Not sure if it's the companyor just that it's part of printing.
safetysue
This is the reason I use Online Labels. I got samples from both and I have no problems lining up my Online Labels with Publisher. You can order individual sheets from both and shipping was basically the same.
Candybee
I use Labels by the Sheet a lot and have no problems. But then I don't use their templates. I use the avery templates in my own label program or create my own. Its easy to do and my labels come out perfect.
barncat
FOr some reason, i need to align all my labels on my program just slightly to the right to get them centered. Maybe try that. I use printshop
bah67
It has been a pain to say the least. I have looked at other places and may have to switch if I cannot get them to align. But I really like their glossy photo labels because they are not suppose to smear.
number2of7
Call me retarded (okay, not really), but there's actually a certain way I have to load their labels into the printer. If one way is off-center, I flip it. Works every time!
Phyra02
I get my labels from there also. I tried to use Word and they didn't come out right. I used Avery DesignPro and have not had any problems since. I even had to call Labels by the sheet customer service to walk me through making an oval label. No problems ever since. Candybee
I use the Avery Design Pro too. I get lots of compliments on my labels and they print out great on my label sheets I use from Labels by the Sheet.
