rebeccajo99
I don't know how you would do it.... buy my guess would be pouring a flat candle.. and then when it is almost set up (soft and plyable yet) twisting it???That would be my first guess on what to try
Vicky_CO
If you look in the archives of the old board you will see a few of those along with instructions. Tanya I think was making those but I an not sure I am remembering right.

Faerywren
You dip your taper and while it's still warm and pliable you use a rolling pin on it then twist it. I love the way these look. ~Julia
Dustpuuppy
I saw a book at Barns and Noble that had step by step instructions for those, with pics. But it was the same as Julia said. They also took 2 tapers and twisted them together around a metal rod, kind of like a caduceus.
Scented
Memory serves me right, Tanya did some of those though.

Dustpuuppy
Memory serves me right, Tanya did some of those though.I think half the board was making them at one time. Seems like that was one of our 'kids with new toys' moments. Like when a kid plays with the new toy nonstop for a week then throws it in the corner and never looks at it again.Like the water candles... ice candles... several other things. Once we figured out that we could actually make them, it wasn't fun anymore.
ChrisR
They are very pretty and easy to make, but they actually burned lousy and dripped like crazy. They make good decorative candles, but not very practical to burn, at least my experience when I made some way back when.
Scented
Ah, but it was Bruce who started the craze lol!
