TheWickedWick
Here's my delima...made a batch of tarts/clamshells scented Mac Apple & Strudel Spice (so far so good) however I opened a new package of dye chips and the color was suppose to the "Rust" but it's not . My tarts came out a pretty pinky/dusty rose kinda color..not what I was going for and it doesn't really match for "Apple Strudel". So...I need to rename it...any suggestions? By the way, the rest of the dye chips are the appropriate color..must have been a flunky one. Anyway I don't want to scrap this batch..hence I need a new name.I was thinking maybe "Pink Apple & Spice"Thanks for your help.Karen
Vicky_CO
If you plan never to do that in that color again I would name it really silly name just to get rid of it.Apples gone wildDrunk apples
TheWickedWick
Vicky....I like those and no, I don't ever plan to do that again or at least I hope not. Sometimes it's so hard to tell what color those pesky dye chips really are. Just didn't want to scrap them..Thanks for your help.
blazerina
Isn't there an Apple called a Pink Lady or something? There is also an apple sauce that is sometimes pink.. no? Maybe call it Saucy Apple, lol. And if you put any kind of melon or berry in the name- it can strangely miraculously translate to people's noses, and it will make sense. Like, Berry Spicey Apple or Appleberry Strudel.
Jeana
I like the idea of adding berry to the name it totally explains the pinkish color. How about Spiced Apple Berry?
TheWickedWick
Adding "Berry" to the name does explain the pink. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. My limited edition will be called "Apple Berry Sauce".
