Which wax gives the best cold throw?

If you were making an item and cold throw was the only important thing, what kind of wax would you use: soy, paraffin or a mix of both?

For me...based on my experience, I think gb415 has a pretty impressive cold throw. I'm curious to know what others experiences are on this.

I've been testing JS' 50/50 container wax and it has a fabulous cold throw. Another one that has great cold throw is J223 and then of course GB415 ( which is a great wax just a pita to wick )

I'm really just looking for opinions regarding the cold throw in soy wax vs. paraffin wax generally, but not specific waxes. I use both in different applications but I was just wondering what people thought about it if hot throw, burning, wicking, container, humidity, or the phases of the moon were ignored. :smiley2:

I think soy has a better CT overall. Though it really does matter which wax specifically because my J223 is right up there with my 464 at this point.

My j-50 gives an excellent cold throw and hot throw in candles. OK6228 for tarts.

i have only ever worked with soy and it is awesome! but because ive only ever worked with soy my opinion is biased lol
