ronzo
As a relatively new candle maker I've tried several container waxes and like 4627 the best so far. You candle Masters that use 4627 what brand of wicks do you like best. I've tried CD, HTP and ECO so far and am leaning toward HTP so far, but I'm wondering what others like for this wax. Thanks So Much Ronzo
Carrie
I mix 4627 with soy but I use HTP wicks.
Ring of Fire
CD wicks.
blueparrot67
I prefer the ECOs. It really gets fun choosing which wick to use when you put more than one ounce of fragrance (I know it can handle that) in a pound of wax. The cold/hot throw rocked but I was not happy with the smoking and soot. Good ole 4627 you either hate it or love it! Ha
SliverOfWax
HTP and CD.
ScentedLuxuries
I prefer zinc wicks with that wax.
ckelley116
I use HTPs as well. Love them, so clean burning and no trimming necessary!
joanncat18
Apparently IGI recommends HTP from what I read. I am wanting to try this wax too and was going to order the HTP wicks with it. Ahh need more mulah.
candle dame
I have tried ECO, HTP, zincs and a couple others, but i prefer LX myself.
Darbla
I could have sworn someone said on another thread that IGI recommended LX wicks, but that person didn't give a source for that. I prefer LX in other waxes, and am currently testing LX wicks in a blend with 4627 but I'm not using 4627 straight.
pwillo2
I thought about testing some of this wax and in my research from companies Peaks and Lonestar suggests HTP... I have not tried it yet though so I have nothing to really input...Sorry...ETA: AndI just looked on CS and they reccomend Eco then HTP then LX...So I guess its all over the place...LOLEmily Edited September 27, 2009 by pwillo2
WillowBoo
I just can't do 4627 alone - I miz it with C3 and use CDN wicks. I have mushrooms but no soot.
