Rustic Mottle Layer Bayberry

Recommended Posts

I was just trying to make something for the holidays with bayberry other than green....so I tried this. The dark layer is really more violet but it shows up blue. I didn't stress about the temperature and just let it do what it was going to do. I did pour around the 150 to 160.....I was cooking dinner at the same time. Donita

I have no idea what I did.....that always seems to work better for me.....isn't that stupid.....I was pouring at 150 to 160......used heat gun between layers to melt the wax that I slopped on the sides.....used 4045H with 2 T steric pp and about 1 oz FO....I wasn't really paying attention and I ended up with sell able candles...go figure.....if I were doing an experiment, it wouldn't have worked. It must be the little green men who come and help me....hehehe Donita
