anabanana's candles
My mom saw these on qvc and was wondering if I could make them. From what I read they are clear MP bases. Anyone made these? If so would you share. http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.2/app.detail
jbren
The link doesn't show anything for me, but if it's what I'm thinking of, you can make them in plastic cups, layering, tiltling the cups for some layers, using LOTS of mica. After they are finished and the cup torn/cut away, you can carve them with a knife to the shape of natural gemstones. There are some in this link: http://www.thesensualcandle.com/soaprocks.html?gclid=COvq-7T84JMCFQUjGgodHFHvVg
Di_in_AZ
Those are beautiful, I think you would use them for decoration (which in AZ translates to dust collection)--I couldn't ever imagine using them.

Di_in_AZ
Is this what the link was supposed to show us?http://www.qvc.com/qsearch/search.aspxLOL Your link brought up a tan handbag for me, I just searched gemstone soaps on the qvc link. The ones that jbren posted are the same things, different designs and more varied.
jbren
I got the handbag also, and couldn't find any soaps doing a search.

sudsnwicks
I think I'd prefer the handbag (the one in multi) if somebody would like to buy me a present.
CareBear
Well it IS a very nice handbag. But I watched the video and the guy is absolutely fondling it like it's a breast. Ick.The video does, however, say it would be a very nice gift... hint hint

debscent
I think at the Mid Atlantic Lights & Lathers meeting in Pitts., we are having a demonstration for that soap (I think we are).
Dana Mae
There is a seller on Etsy that makes these....I was drooling over her/his turquoise soaps.Really too pretty to use!
Abbiepql
DebScent is right, we are having a gemstone soap demo by Bonnie Bartley, Soapsmith. Her gemstone soaps are so pretty and realistic, I kept looking at the pictures and wondering if they were really soap. Here is a picture with her information, she is the fourth one listed on the right side. LinkI have had quite a few ladies comment how great her classes are so I am really looking forward to it - she is the first demo of the morning!Yet another reminder how close this gathering is - 42 days!!!
