  1. Lemon Pound cake is crazy good in 464. As is Irish Morning which is a dupe of Irish Spring. I used to use them exclusivley until I found Candle Science. MS is about 20 minutes away from me and now I really just use them for wicks, wax and jars.
  2. Does anyone know of a company, besides Save on Scents that does some really weird or gross fragrance oils?
  3. Who has the best prices on C3? It used to be Fillmore Container, but they seem to be higher.
  4. Just got my products placed into a consignment shop that looks more like a high end boutique. She asked about liability with the handmade soaps and lip butters. Can someone help me out. Not sure what she meant. I would think that since it is consignment I assume all liability.
  5. How do you do this. What would I need to purchase?
  6. my future brother in law makes pneumatic halloween things and wanted stinky oils to make scents with

  9. I used some cinnamon eo in a couple of ip balms to test it and it felt alot like that tingling lip gloss. I liked it, but some people who were more sensitive didn't.
  10. I am local to Makes Scents Candles and they started carrying "Irish Morning". It smells like Irish Spring and is $14.99/pd. I am only posting this because I notice alot of people looking for that scent and some places are so expensive. makesscentscandles.com I do not work for them, I just thought that I would share. I use this in liquid soap and linen spray so far and the staying power is great.
  11. Has anyone else noticed that this has dissapeared off of their shelves. None of the Lowes in my area carry it. Where else can I get lye???
  12. I am trying to get in on the prebuy, but their website isn't coming up. Anyone else having trouble?
  13. GB464 no wicking up and GREAT throw. My hubby loves this one.
  14. must not be peaks. I had the same happen with KY Candle Supply. It was my first time ordering from them and I was dissapointed.
  15. I want a white base to suspend things like oatmeal and other additives. Herbs and such. Thanks.
  16. I am looking for a goatsmilk melt and pour suspension soap. I saw the clear on at WSP and I am looking for something white. Any ideas?
  17. You can pour it hot or cool. I prefer cool only because with the temperature fluctuations in my house I don't have to worry about heating the tops. I just think that tins are adventorous because they can be unpredictable. For me anyway, they start off very cool and don't melt nice and then the end can be scorching hot. It takes alot of trial and error to wick them correctly. Just my opinion, but I would try jars that are the same size from top to bottom and see how that works for you. Just until you get used to how they burn and get the wicking down. Like an inexpensive jelly jar or something. But again, that is just my opinion. Good luck.
  18. I use 464 only and here is what I do. I melt my wax completley ( i have an electric turkey fryer) and then let it cool completley. I then remelt, measure and add FO ( if you use Candlescience scents, you are wasting them by using any more than 3/4 to 1oz pp of wax. You might actually lose scent throw by adding too much.) I stir until around 105 to 100 degrees and then pour. I use CD and Eco wicks and I love them. Nice smooth burn and great scent throw with 464. You are adventurous starting with candle tins. They can be a pain to wick. Try a 6 or 8oz jar too. Good luck.
  19. I made a batch of Castille and I used a Awareness ribbon plastic 8 cavity mold. I don't want to ruin them when I unmold. This is my first attempt at this type of mold. Any tips for a smooth unmolding?

This one is awesome and bakery, not just ginderbread Very Vanilla: Oh my, this one is THE BEST vanilla that I have ever smelled Pumpkin Souflee: I just ordered this one for a fundraiser and it is amazing.
