pcbrook
Well I tried the Performa wicks and was not really happy with the burn. They just did not seem hot enough and they still curled a little, which is why I tried them. Was hoping they would not curl. Has anyone here used LX wicks in soy? Do they seem to work okay? Do they curl over or stand straight?Sorry for all the questions but I am trying to find a wick I can be happy with.
Stella1952
I have not used LXs, but I use CDNs and am very happy with them. They are self-trimming, so they do have a slightly off-center melt pool, but twisting the wick helps to even that out. They are identical to CDs except that they have been treated to resist acids present in veggie waxes. I don't know about other suppliers, but JBN offers a sample pack if you are interested. racolvin
I use LX wicks in the GW464 soy wax and they work just dandy.

kandlekrazy
I tried LX and I didn't like them in my wax, but that's me and my wax. I do have 3 sizes that I can send you some to try out if you'd like. I think I have LX 22, 24 and 26.
pcbrook
Looking at the charts on the vendor site I think those are probably the sizes I need to start with. How many do you have and what are you asking?
