jbren
Posted this up in the reed diffuser thread, but thought I'd post it her also. These are fun to make, the scent throw is great, but I don't think I'd sell them because of the liability. These are 3 of the 4 I've made for myself. Thanks for looking!

jbren
Thanks everyone. The dotted one is the first one I made and it sits here next to me on my computer table. The aroma wafts thru the whole house. This week's fragrance is "Hardwood Musk"

Michi
Those are awesome, love them all! I've been researching these as well.Did you buy all the parts, including the vase part, or did you actually make the vase part from something else?I'd love to be able to make these and sell them, but like you I'm kind of afraid of the liability and how stupid people can be. :undecided

Michi
Those are different! How do they work? I like them alot! KimmerooI would suggest that you do a search for these cuz it's kinda hard to explain how they work.I found a great site (can't remember it right now of course ) that sells a complete kit and then you just have to find the bottom part (jar, vase, etc.) That will fit the diameter of the wick holder. That's the fun part of it- you can use just about anything as the base as long as it's heat resistant and the opening fits.
jbren
I'm sorry...I wasn't back and then the board was down.I used soap/lotion pump dispensers for mine. They work like a catalytic converter. And yes, there are many options for vessels, however, not only does it have to be heat resistant, but also something that is ok for liquids. In other words, if you are using any type of ceramic or pottery, it should be glazed on the inside and not be porous.
