edensong
Basic formula should be in thirds -- equal parts beeswax, butters and oils.suds, have you tried the all butter recipe? I'm wondering how hard it is.

Jorie
Is there a differance to the recipies that are pure bars and the ones that are made for push up tubes?
CareBear
Not really. For myself I like to make "disks" a bit firmer for use on the hands, and put slightly oilier and softer ones into tubes.
elle110
Is there a differance to the recipies that are pure bars and the ones that are made for push up tubes?not really any difference in the recipe or the how it works, but in my area the push-up do not sell, can't keep the bars in tins in stock, I think it is just a preference on your clientele base. Lady Di
My basic recipe is 1 + 1 + 1... 1 part butter, 1 part oil, 1 part beeswax. I use shea butter, grapeseed oil and beeswax. I like it. The bar is not too soft and not too hard.Dianne
Lady Di
P.S. My recipe works either in a tube, or as a bar.
