I am asking this question as a consumer rather than a seller. Given that the issue of liability seems to be very prevalent on here with regards to selling, how can I be sure that someone has insurance prior to buying something from them? Is this something that you think should be easily found on someone's website/etsy shop? Do you think that a seller would be offended if I asked them if they had it if I can't locate that information easily?

I am just getting back into making my own products after focusing on other interests for awhile. Being someone that is a hobbist with no plans on ever selling my products, I have in the past not been the best at keeping purchasing records. I have alot of supplies that I don't know how long that I have had them and I am trying to figure out a way to determine if they are still viable. My main concern is my preservative, which I think is at least 3 years old. I also plan to go to the companies that I purchased the items from to see if they can give me a record of my purchases, but I think some have gone out of business since I bought from them.

Anybody have any tips or tricks on how to use the PJ soap syringe? my soap keeps hardening in the tip before I can get the design in my mold filled.

I like this one. I would agree with the others to make the "burn safely" smaller and then perhaps a line or two about how one does that. Otherwise they are perfect.

I have to say that I like them, only I wonder who your target audience is. If your going to sell excusivly to pagans (such as for ritual purposes) then they are fine. However, I think the pentagram my be a turnoff to some if your audience is broader than that.

Actually to me that sounds kind of interesting, especially since there is that bath caviar stuff, though I can't exactly remember what it is for. Maybe a layer of jojoba beads suspended in a clear champagne infused M&P with perhaps a champagne and strawberries scent to it. Heck, there are celebrities that bathe in the stuff, it woulden't suprize me if there are people willing to pay to lather with it.

it's three pounds worth, or close to it. I guess I will take it over as I have the label now to them and see what they say. It has the ingrediants on it but not my address. Im a bit wary to put that on there since I live just across the street.

I was in a rush this weekend to make a bath set for a fundraiser and ended up making about 3X as much lotion as I really need . I do this as a hobby and don't really sell my products and I am wondering what I should do with all of this? I know that someone had once suggested taking extras to a shelter, how would you suggest I do this, particularly again since I am not doing this as a business that I can say that I am making the donation from.

I saw those but I am wondering if they are really good for the itch or do they mainly help with the streching skin. He not retaining fluid yet so fighting the itch is the bigger concern.
