KJohnson
I dont have a clue what they are or how you make them. I would love to learn..I am thinking they are like a tart??
Terrie
Here they are. You just pour your wax directly into them. You use them just as you would a tart.

Candle Man
There are 2 types that I know of. The first one only holds approx. 1oz and the second holds approx 3oz.The first one is from here and the back in NOT hingedhttp://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/Product.aspx?Tab=2&CatalogID=3&GroupID=554&CatalogTitle=0&CategoryID=656&CategoryName=Break-A-Way+ClamshellsThe second one you can get at many different places and have a hinged back, here are a fewhttp://www.cierracandles.com/detail.aspx?ID=2709http://allwhitecandles.easystorecreator.com/Browse_Item_Details.asp/Item_ID/18/categ_id/3/parent_ids/0,3/Name/100_Wax_Snap_Packages_-_6_Cavity_Clamshellhttp://rusticescentuals.com/molds.htmlhttp://www.acandleco.com/index.cfm/fa/categories.main/parentcat/11662
KJohnson
thanks so much for all the info...So then you just leave them in the clam shell and sell them like that? do they sell the same as tarts?
Jordan
I just ordered this size the other day. Anyone know what size labels to use that will fit the front of the 3.3 clamshells?
Fire and Ice
If the first one is the place that Shutterbug got them in the last co-op I need to let you know that this clamshell is actually bigger that the others and hold more wax. I know this as I have both sizes and had to discontinue the smaller ones for the larger ones. No the backs aren't hinged but they close just the same and sell as well if not better because they are slightly larger. I ordered 600 of them and will hopefully be ordering 1000 more in January or when Shutterbug has another co-op of these. They might be slightly harder to close but they are larger and my customers like them better.
