LegendaryGifts
I watched the video tutorial that shows the step-by-step process of CP. Does anyone know of a similar video for HP? I have been looking but I am not having any luck so I was hoping someone out there in this wonderful world of soapmaking knows of one. Thanks!Penny

cindym
there you go, http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45126 I think many of us used this one for our first batch.
Scented
I know Robin's tutorial helped to put my mind at ease, but the first batch was still freaky ... just ask Shutterbug who was the one to push me over the edge. Course this is a tute for CP, but it really does help get one over the fear of lye because Robin is so thorough.

LegendaryGifts
Thank you very much for all the links! I have watched and read and now I have to make the hard decision on whether to try the CP or the HP lol! I also need to hunt down the lye as well. I do have a Lowe's store nearby, but not sure exactly what the product is that people are using. Penny
Fire and Ice
Go to Lowes and look on the top shelf of the Plumbing section! White plastice bottle with red label. The name begins with an "R". It comes in 21b bottles. I would pick up at least two or three. It will say 100% lye on the label. Fire
