TAS
Faye those are great looking soapies Couple of questions - what is Vanilla stabilizer? What did you use to color your Ginger Appletini? Just lovely?TAS

Faye_SC
The Patchouli log is suppose to be Blue. The Ginger Appletini is dyed with BCN's Bright Red Gel Tone.Vanilla stabilizer is a liquid from BCN, that is suppose to keep Vanilla fragrances from browning.Like Pink Sugar turns brown. You mix 50/50 with fragrance and add at trace. This is the first time I have used it. Hope it works. Looking good so far.If you want a nice purple, use BCN's Bright Purple Gel Tone. It works great.

Scented
They look great! Yep, keep us posted about that vanilla stabilizer I haven't had a patchouli go brown on me, but wondering if that stabilizer made the colorant a little unstable. However you got purple and some purples just go gray.
Ilona
They look great! Yep, keep us posted about that vanilla stabilizer I haven't had a patchouli go brown on me, but wondering if that stabilizer made the colorant a little unstable. However you got purple and some purples just go gray. The stabalizer is odd at times. I've tested it in a few batches. In some colors (peacock brands) the color just disappeared completely during gel. However recently I've done a batch with Celestial and I thought the blue was going to vanish - it totally disappeared during gel, but like magic - came back by the end of gel. It's odd stuff!
